LOL. Should I just ditto this same thing as your reply to my last post showing why your reliance on Moncton misses the mark? Or do you want to toss in a few more gratuitous insults to my intelligence to save face before the peanut gallery?
Wasn’t your interest group working on strengthening Art. II requirements but dropped it because your other initiatives (preserving and extending gun ownership rights and trying to eliminate abortion) were being compromised by any association with the phrase, “Presidential Eligibility”.
I generally respond to them for my own amusement. I'm one of those twisted souls who enjoys arguing, but this present denizen* of Free Republic has been so thoroughly spanked that it's losing interest for me.
Btw, you called the ‘Gallups letter’ right early on. Props. Next time you smell a rat, I’ve vowed to take you more seriously. Your track record is stellar.

*Note, I use the term "Denizen" because it's evident he's not a "Citizen" of Free Republic. He wasn't invited here, He hasn't demonstrated the characteristics of a conservative, (Honesty, Intelligence, Realism), he's expressed no conservative opinions of which I am aware, and he's constantly arguing on behalf of our enemies. He's a Denizen, or even an Illegal Alien. No wonder he's trying to argue on behalf of weak citizenship standards. :)
And on the WHLFBC the wording above Onaka's signature states:
"I certify this is a true copy . . . of the record on file . . ."
And Onaka's verification to SoS Bennett states:
I verify that the information in the copy of the Certificate of Live Birth for Mr. Obama that you attached matches the original record in our files."
So you are contending the difference between "true and correct copy of the original record" versus "true copy of the record on file" and "matches the original record" is what exactly?
Again, my point here is simply to highlight why Birther arguments have not -- and will not -- ever gain traction among the thinking crowd. To suggest there is some functional difference in the wording here is just silly.

Yesterday was the only time I didn’t take you seriously. I guess I didn’t appreciate Orly’s gift for going off half cocked. I thought she had a better sense that the email actually came from Gallups than she did. (She might have made some slight effort to verify it before slapping it up on her blog.) It's a stamp they use, for heavens sake. "Copy" here applies to the full copy they produced of the long form. "Abstract" pertains when they produce the COLB or "short form," which is an abstract of data compiled from the more comprehensive document.
One stamp covers both situations. It's a convenience.

No Trier of Fact has been convinced about type spacing, kerning or moire patterns, etc. on copies of copies that have only been viewed as PDFs on computer screens. The only thing that matters is the actual data that is on the original vault edition document that resides in Hawaii state Registrar Dr. Onaka’s safe at the Hawaii Department of Health. If anyone wants to ask Dr. Onaka about that document or the Letters of Verification that he has issued for that document, they can subpoena him to testify under oath.
If someone wants to argue for document tampering or forgery, they should present evidence to a prosecuting attorney for a formal criminal grand jury investigation or a legislative committee investigation, which in seven years, NO ONE HAS DONE. (Obama first announced his candidacy for president on February 10, 2007.)
I never said that anyone should “shut up.” If there is probative evidence, shout it from the rooftops but also try to convince just one prosecutor, somewhere that there is a legitimate issue.
Short form birth certificates are abstracts. Long forms are copies. The official certified birth certificate of the state of Hawaii is the short form, which meets the criteria for the issuance of the primary evidence of citizenship and identity in the United States, a U.S. Passport.
