Yesterday, Romney did say a smart thing. The Republicans should tie the minimum wage to the COLA. I say it should be tied to both the inflationary and deflationary indexes. That seems fair.

I deleted the show within a minute of his idiotic talking points. Also, Cavuto pissed me off. McCain was on and called the TEA Part extremist. And Cavuto promoted by not saying anything. Won't be DVRing Cavuto either.

B’OR is an intellectual idiot. Small business are hurt the most from minimum wage increase. With business slow maybe they’ll get a loan to cover the increase...hah!

When I was 16 I started working for minimum wage. At my 90 day review I got a raise ... I was told it was for hard work, reliability, punctuality, and a good attitude.
2 months later, the Dem congress made the determination that my lazy, unreliable, unpunctual, bad attitude co-workers deserved a raise too. So they raised the minimum wage.
Luckily, my boss was conservative. He gave me another raise to keep me ahead of the others. But he also told me one of my lazy coworkers would have his hours cut to encourage him to leave. That was the only way the boss could afford all the raises.

O’Reilly is right, just wrong about the figure.
The GOP should propose, as passionately as they can, raising the minimum to a living wage of 1000.00 dollars an hour.
To: Olog-hai
States and Cities can raise their own minimum wages. Some have done it. Why is it so important that there be a Federal minimum wage?

I saw that segment. O’Reilly just sounded stupid and out of touch.

The guy was never a true conservative so this does not come as a surprise at all. He seems to agree with Obama on a lot.

I agree with raising the minimum wage, but why stop at ten? 35, 40 or even 50 bucks an hour would really boost the economy and help the government collect more taxes. /sarc

Great. Then many adult minimum wage workers would be vulnerable to replacement not only by illegals, but also by teenagers.
BOR and Democrats have the type of brains that don’t even think consequences through for two steps.

Bag O’ Rocks O Reilly is such an expert on public policy. I wonder how many elected offices he has ever held, at any level (including dog catcher)? Has he ever offered the voters an opportunity to express their support/opposition to his stated positions on public policy?

This is why I gave up on FOX years ago, as bad as CNN.
