Thank you! Hubby & I are grateful, and look forward to some tasty meals. Thanks again.
Libtards don’t want to hear about this. Its rational and makes sense.
“Venison chili is the tops.”
Mr. GG2 makes a venison chili to die for. I have a venison quarter on the freezer and when I cook it he will take the leftovers and make a big batch. We eat some and freeze some.
He's just trying to protect his voters.
You’re welcome. Enjoy!
Are you familiar with the needles used to inject spices or your type of marinades into meats? You can use one of those to inject melted fat into venison roasts. When you want to inject coarse ground pepper, minced garlic and other larger spices, choose an injector with a larger tip.
That's a fitting punishment for the feral hog ...
They are all over up here in the snowy mountains of the Great American Redoubt. Beautiful Animals!
Same here in Colorado. Loads of wild turkeys again. It is a riot to have to watch the roads in the neighborhood because of turkeys.
I'd include elk and buffalo for a healthy change of pace.
Evergreen was loaded with elk, huge herds of them.
Small herds walked about in the main part of town.
Mule deer were all over the place, so much so that in three weeks, two of them tried to suicide on the front of a 1985 Crown Victoria. One managed to hit the brakes just before he was to be ‘bumpered” into the passenger side windshield.
How do you tell a friend his daughter got skewered by Bambi?
Not a joke, as those Mulies are large and carry impressive racks.
PS Windshield glass is actually quite thin.
PPS TOO THIN, ‘specially when one sees Bambi attempting suicide up close.
It is not uncommon to 10 and 12 point buck running around here. Every single trip in or out of the neighborhood there are deer to watch out for.
Hey, thanks for posting that recipe. I have a freezer full of deer and feral pig meat that my son shot recently and I had no clue what to do with the steaks. We had deer burgers yesterday, they were delicious, but I had no idea what to do with the roasts and steaks.

Oooo, I’d love to see the recipe. My son has been bringing me tons of game and I have absolutely no clue how to cook it. Do you generally make venison chili the same as beef chili?
Yes Mr. GG2 uses the same recipe for beef or venison chili. I never watch him make it but he uses cans of those organic beans that have 3 kinds of beans in them.
