Hate to bring this up, but those particular Texans turned into the Baltimore Colts, not the later team which was the Chiefs.

Hate to bring this up, but those particular Texans turned into the Baltimore Colts, not the later team which was the Chiefs. I said, "My late Father attended several games of the 1952 Dallas Texans." Nothing was said about the 1960-62 Dallas Texans who moved to KC. Yet just what I did say would seem to indicate that I knew they were the failed 1952 NFL team that eventually moved to Baltimore. Which, by the way, was the main reason the Colts were the first team I rooted for in the mid-1950s when I got old enough to know anything about the game.
Just for the sake of getting it straight, the 1952 Dallas Texans team was actually a transplanted version of another faux pax, the NFL New York Yanks.
