Freer Logion (between 16:14 and 16:15)[27]
“And they excused themselves, saying, This age of lawlessness and unbelief is under Satan, who does not allow the truth and power of God to prevail over the unclean things dominated by the spirits.[28] Therefore reveal your righteousness now. thus they spoke to Christ. And Christ responded to them, The limit of the years of Satan’s power is completed, but other terrible things draw near. And for those who sinned I was handed over to death, that they might return to the truth and no longer sin, in order that they might inherit the spiritual and incorruptible heavenly glory of righteousness. “
In the Freer Logion the assertion that this faithless age belongs to Satan is rebuked by Christ. I don’t think you get to keep the faithless age excuse without suffering the rebuke by Christ.
I don’t think they are dead. Certainly there are no tombs for them, as there is a celebrated tomb for Christ.

Like I said, Jesus is taking the world back so Satan’s complete power over the world ended. But he is still not fully defeated and won’t be until the final battle.
Satan’s age is ended, but “but other terrible things draw near....”
A clear warning of the Flying Spagetti Monster!

They were always in tombs. They are nothing but statues and temples and that’s all they ever were. Does Apollo drive a chariot across the sky in your world?
Jesus had a tomb for only three days. Then, he left it and eventually ascended to heaven.

Only if his sauce is that watery kind with lumpy tomatoes. Nasty!
