One button on the keyboard to reboot the computer every time somebody presses it by accident? Sounds like the greatest idea since the Edsel.

Methinks he got lucky that his dumb idea got blocked.

I’ve been trying to find the “any” key. I was reading a manual for a new piece of software I purchased and it said, “press any key”.

Still can’t find it.

Ctrl-Alt-Del was just fine. I never had a problem with it.

If I were Bill Gates, I’d be more worried about Windows 8.

Blame someone else, Bill. That’s the way to go.

My Windows laptop hangs sometimes, I think the Adobe something or other causes it (there is no log evidence in this highly advanced operating system.) And when it hangs, CtrlAltDel does not work, as it should in an operating system. That is your mistake Senor Gates. I don’t remember my Sun Solaris workstation ever hanging like that, though, truth be told, it might have done it once or twice in a dozen years.

All I know is, after years of using Apple/Macintosh I was forced to use an IBM/DOS machine at work........It was like trying to make stone knives while wearing bearskins.

Dad’s first 286 back in 1987 or so had a gang outlet surge protector thing... with a large toggle switch on the side... not a rocker... a toggle. The stupid thing sat on the floor and if you move your foot to the side like as if you were turning 5o get up fromnthe desk. WHAM! Lights out... and you just lost the last 3 hours of AutoCAD drawings.because you forgot to save.
