Wow now whole families can migrate to Mars if they can just figure out the other 10,000 problems.

“mommy why is there all this dirt in my glass of water?”

Einstein posited that if a fully formed alternative universe existed, it would have to be near identical to ours. However a partially formed universe could be somewhat like ours, but be missing things such as organizational patterns, that ours has.

Wow! So Democrats are the alien invaders we feared. Here to steal our organizational patterns for their own. No wonder they stand out among us.

I had some fun with that, back before Obama was elected. I suggested to some liberal Democrats that Obama would cause a schism, splitting the world into two separate realities, one world where conservatives lived and ruled, and another entire world just for liberals and leftists.

I didn’t immediately realize it, but I struck a deep and rich psychological vein in the troubled minds of liberals.

They did not like this idea one bit. In fact it horrified them. Without saying so they realized that leftism and liberalism are totally, absolutely dependent on conservatism to survive. That left to their own devices they will live in poverty, anguish, violence and misery until they die out. Parasites with no host. And nobody to force their will on.

Their world would be Hell itself to them. A terrible, festering pit of unrequited hate, bitterness, neuroses, despair and anguish. Nobody to blame for the failure of their ideas. No conspiracy of normalcy they can accuse of oppressing them. No mother, milk, apple pie, religious faith in redemption, patriotism, conscientiousness and caring.

Unfortunately I couldn’t figure out how to follow this idea up. Perhaps a political fantasy novel.
