I look at this as a sign that the narrative is being broken down, and the truth is on it’s way to being revealed.

I’m all for honoring winningest coaches. Vince Lombardi, Joe Walsh of the 49ers, Joe Paterno who sent kids to class instead of to the field. But we must always remember that the greatest leaders had their aides and assistants to help them achieve greatness, and those behind the scenes faces deserve our respect as well. Nixon had Haldeman and Dean, FDR had Alger Hiss, and Joe Paterno had his assistant coaches including one named Jerry Sandusky, whose sizeable contributions to the winningest coach’s winnings we should all honor!

If you'd do a little research, you'd know that js was granted emeritus status upon his retirement - which gave him access to the facilities.

This was signed off on by then provost, now president Rodney Erickson. Joe Paterno - according to the freeh report - objected to this, and was overruled. Joe objected to it because of the liability involved with js bringing second mile kids into the facility.

Here is Joe's hand-written notes on js's retirement package. You can see about halfway down on the right hand side his objection to js bringing second mile kids into the facilities. Know that "liability" in this case means some disadvantaged kid is going to get hurt and someone is going to sue. Nothing more.

The more somebody Paterno is innocent, the more I believe we haven’t seen the surface of his corruption, especially when they are so myopically absorbed in ignoring his duty. I now suspect he may have been much more criminally involved than anybody or any evidence has indicated.

You'll go on forever, ignoring how Sandusky gets in to the locker room to do these deeds, claiming poor Joe couldn't have known a thing, pretending those who disagree don't know Sandusky wasn't still a coach or some such ridiculousness.
