A woman from Los Angeles who was a tree hugging, liberal Democrat and an anti-hunter purchased a piece of timberland near Colville, WA . There was a large tree on one of the highest points in the tract. She wanted a good view of the natural splendor of her land so she started to climb the big tree.
As she neared the top she encountered a spotted owl that attacked her. In her haste to escape, the woman slid down the tree to the ground and got many splinters in her crotch.
In considerable pain, she hurried to a local ER to see a doctor. She told him she was an environmentalist, a Democrat, and an anti-hunter and how she came to get all the splinters. The doctor listened to her story with great patience and then told her to go wait in the examining room and he would see if he could help her.
She sat and waited three hours before the doctor re-appeared.
The angry woman demanded, “What took you so long?”
He smiled and then told her, “Well, I had to get permits from the Environmental Protection Agency, the Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management before I could remove old-growth timber from a ‘recreational area’ so close to a Waste Treatment Facility.
And I’m sorry, but due to Obama-Care they turned you down.
Good morning! I think I feel better today, but yesterday was really ugly. I’m glad it’s behind me. I’m still depressed, but there are other factors involved in that aspect.
Now I have to put away the clothes that dried overnight, and put away the dishes, and that will be my “work” for today.
Anyway, it’s a new day and I’m looking for the sun to finally peek over the mountains. My favorite time of day!

“Break a leg” is not the best choice today: he says his friend may have broken his hip yesterday! Bill bought himself a new outfit to wear to the interview, and he’ll have it if he needs it again ;-).

Before I was fifty, I took one pill a day. A multipurpose vitamin. Ever since fifty, the number of pills taken per day has grown exponentially.

I take seven: vitamins, minerals, and herbs. ‘Face is two decades older, so she takes about 7-squared ;-).
That’s too bad about Bill’s friend. I hope he has a speedy recovery. He’s probably pretty disgruntled, right about now.
I finally got smart and set the alarm on my phone at the times I need to take the pills. Different sounds. It really does help, but getting those pills down is a horse of another color. Ungh.
Maybe it will turn out to be not a broken bone, but just bruises and contusions. Bill will find out later today.
At least it wasn’t his head. They are too cool to wear helmets, although Bill keeps one in the car truck for show.

And when the pills came this month, I realized I was one bottle short of one pill and two of another. Ohwell...I only have three more weeks to go. Optimism is good!
I’m doing the bobblehead thingy again, so I guess I will go steal about 30 minutes’ sleep. Ungh..I hate this. I was up half the night trying to help my stomach to settle down, and this morning, it seems to have affected my brain.
I like “car truck” better. It’s what I have! LOL!

I’m going to mop the kitchen and dining room before I put on another meal. However, long it takes. It’s not the task itself: it’s the Impedimenta.
Ungh. A job I loathe. I like clean floors, but the effort is no fun at all for me. I’m such a wuss.
And now the depression is back. Dang. I need a joke book.
I’m not good with jokes. When Pat comes downstairs, I’ll ask him for one!
Bill is off to the hospital, having (fortunately) thought to ask me the location before he left. I didn’t know, so we looked it up.
