Persian. It’s either dry and bland, or tastes and feels like wet garbage. No wonder they’re so mad all the time.
You must be mad. Even a salad and half a loaf of bread with butter is exquisite in France, and better than the best meal in the U.S. Their ingredients are so much better, and add to that their cuilinary sensibility.
Japan!!?? I couldn't eat anything even flown over Japan. Raw fish, eyeballs, eels, and seaweed. Hell no.
Never tried it. But thanks for the warning.
North Korea? Well you never know what your going to get! May Chong down the street or Harry next door. Hmm Hmm those neighbors sure taste good.
If you were an under 10 kid, I would imagine you missed your sugar diet.
if a teenager kid, you were staring at the girls with desire.
I LOVED eyetie when I was in my 30' and 40's but went "simple" around 50 and now have a somewhat plain rice, veggie, meat diet.
Serves me well for my age and lack of physical activity.
I get on a sugar binge about three times a month so I'm not all that healthy.
I'll die with a smile on my face and a burp.
“Until recently I would say that the British Isles has the worst food. Boiled and overcooked is NOT the way to prepare most food since it cooks the flavor right out of it. However, in recent years food has reportedly improved in that part of the world.”
Back when the Brits were a majority there, their food was TERRIBLE. But now that they are transitioning to a non-British “multicultural” society, their food has increased greatly. Of course everything else, starting with crime, now sucks, but their food is much better.
I heard correctly. None of it bad, but Lord knows it wasn't good.
I had delicious seafood that year in the Cayman Islands, though...
Haggis, yum.
“Reminds me of the joke that made the rounds years ago during an African famine: “
That’s not very nice.
This isn’t very nice either:
How many Ethiopians can you fit in a phone booth?
Answer: all of them.
Yeah ... pasties ARE kind'a .. fun food.
The worst beer (beer counts as food!) was in Algeria. I spent a few weeks in the Sahara camping/trekking by camel. No booze with me and crappy British food. At the end, back in Algiers, the flight to London got cancelled (Air Algeria planes didn't have the needed equipment to do a landing in London when there was fog), so the airline compensated us with a free beer. After 20 days in the desert with no booze at all, I still couldn't finish that beer is was so nasty (and I love beer).
I love pizza from Huntsville. I hate thick crust pizza. Most of the time it s not done and makes me gag. I do not know if Mr. Ed is still in business but that place had wonderful pizza as did Terry’s. Now, since I have been so sick, I just order from Dominoes and let them deliver but I only ge thin crust and their baked sandwiches are great. I like the Mediterranean ones. Their lava cakes are good even though I am not a chocolate lover. Had rather have fruit/watermelon.
In Vietnam I picked the little fish eyes out of a rice dish.....after I’d eaten half of it.
I’ve seen this pix before but just now noticed the “serving trays” are military truck and tank replicas. Is that a mine is the left side of the picture? A re-purposed pressure cooker? These days it might be one and the same. Wonder if Chia boy ate any of the goodies?
Has anyone ever tasted manna?
LOL! Nice to see you, Clyde. :)
