It’s not a Java problem. It’s a FR problem.
It worked fine earlier in the day, I haven’t changed anything on my computer and it’s not working right at this time.

Thanks to both of you.
I rebooted into Linux, where I’m using a different browser and a different version of the Java language, and the problem is indeed there.
And, yes I remember the 20 posts workaround. Guess what—it worked.
So, I was wrong. However, the sequence of FR working—Java update—FR not working within an hour seemed to point at Java rather than a coincidental reappearance of the bug. Improbable, but it seems to be the case.

I usually have mine up all day but I am the problem.

Net is glitchy again.
The hub Verizon/Level3 is red and more is strangled (internetpulse).
Big geomagnetic storm is just subsiding. I’ve had phone lines quit on me today.

You made a reasonable assumption then requested input from others to check it out. There was nothing wrong with that.
I had it set to 20 posts, but it’s still not working right, don’t have a side panel.
They’ll probably fix it eventually.

Periodically for a few hours or a day F only loads 7 or 8 posts on and Next Page jumps me 50 posts so it misses a lot.
