I think John Lennon was overrated. He's the guy that played in The Beatles, a rock band from the mid to late 1960s.
After The Beatles, he put out some pretty awful music like that "Imagine" song and the one song where he screams "Mother" at the top of his lungs. Horrible stuff. He did have a couple of catchy songs on that last album of his ("Double Fantasy") but then he got shot.
