Back in the day, a couple who had two children together were called “married.”

I have a sneaking suspicion it was not a BB gun, but rather a pellet firing air rifle.

Lewis and Clark almost killed a native woman with their Girandoni air rifle.
It was .46 cal.

Is it one of those Air-soft guns? Those are BB guns are steroids from what I heard.
To: BenLurkin
Agreed. No way a BB gun has that kind of velocity.
To: BenLurkin
Holy cow, that’s some real powerful BB gun.

I’m curious about this BB gun, I think most BB guns max out at about 640 fps so how did he get that much penetration? Was he holding it right against her chest? If so, some accident huh? I wonder if maybe the gun wasn’t actually a higher powered pellet gun or rifle, they can get up to 1200fps.

What a neat rifle, too.

Wow. It takes a good 8 or 10 pumps for me to take a rabbit out in my yard. I remember as a kid when we would shoot each other or try to do so with BB guns at distance. That was way before paintball and this airsoft stuff.

Just plastic pellets.
But a good .22 air rifle can give plenty enough velocity and weight to kill with.

My question is, did they ask him why he had a bayonet on it ?

BB or Pellet gun it would have to be one of those high velocity “relatively” new air guns that are over 4 digit fps I suspect.

Back in the day, a couple who had two children together were called married. Single motherhood is the "norm" these days (most having them in their 20s).
To: BenLurkin
When I was a kid, I killed some rats with a .20 pump pellet gun. If you pumped it up enough, you could shoot it through a an aluminum shed wall or deeply embed the pellet in a wood fence. Some of the pellet guns can be very lethal.
