Bob, I’m impressed. Is it possible to do away with the rails and go to a free floating method of transfer? The tubes could then be cylindrical?

There are cracking in the sky visible. Beautiful afternoon on tap Ladies with the cracks in the sky becoming clearer, and have seen a ball of fire a couple of times already.

The tubes
are cylindrical. But one has to interact with
something electro-magnetically.
In theory, short sections could be entirely pneumatic, or even free fall, but we are not going there!

I think you are on the right track of no track interaction and entire concept is within grasp. We could use the caldron at Yellowstone for the entire power supply and resource source..

Laz if you could institute and cause implementation of the safety feature we discussed ... would be grateful.

It is fun. Any minute now, Jamie-our-hairdresser should be here to cut our hair. She texted and said she needed coffee ;-).

Good morning! Bright and sunny here!
We spent Deluge Thursday watching DVD's (The Avengers and The Twilight Zone.) We bought them before we retired and, thank goodness, they're still watchable.
Off to chores. Have a great day, y'all!

After reading your elaboration, I feel that I was born too soon. Up to this time, I felt that I’m so lucky to see many of the fascinating changes that have been made and have occurred. The security features are top-notch! (Unlikely that anyone capable of high-end crimes would be involved in public-transportation mischief.)

What would be the effect of the movement on people who have benign positional vertigo? I can visualize all those otoliths clacking together and causing havoc.

Correct me if wrong. The system utilizes electromagnetic propulsion horizontally and air blast expulsion for vertical up manipulation, then electromagnetic type hold once vertical up attained?

I made a mistake once.
I thought I was wrong, but I turned out to be right.
I’ll never do THAT again.

But one has to interact with something electro-magnetically. Solar flares.
Seriously, I know you think the conduit has to have a rigid structure like a wire or a wave guide, but you can make rapid fire adaptations to the shifting patterns of the flares using a quantum processor and completely do away with physical tracks.
I got it working in one universe a while back. I had trouble making it cost effective because we used moose drool as fuel in that continuum and it was awfully expensive.
