It depends. Our society has always gone back and forth with conservative and liberal stuff. The pendalum constantly goes back and forth. The under 30’s might be our only hope. I am 43 so in 30-50 years, I will be 73-93 if I live that long....Maybe 73 but doubt 93...if it gets any worse, I hope not to be honest.
I think 40 years (two generations) is a minimum that it will take to reverse course and to ensure that we aren’t going to revert... we will have continuing medical advances and the population will continue to average up in age... whether it’s a better place or not will be dependent on whether or not we regain our moral compass. Over the short term (10-15 years) we could go “road warrior” and live like animals if the monetary system collapses.
I have no hope that America will reverse course. Obama wants tens of millions of Americans to die, and they will. After that, the Mexicans, Muslims, Russians, Red Chinese, North Koreans, etc., will flood in and loot the place. After that, America will be a Communist-Muslim dung heap.
Obama and his butt buddies have already obliterated America.
The war is now about liberty and freedom and God.
We must never give up...never give in!
I would hope that we would have the technology of Buck Rogers,
the family structure and values of the 1950s, drive muscle cars and motorcycles similar to those from the 1960s, and the fashion style of the 1930’s .....well, everything except for the bathing suits from that time. Well, it would be nice if that were the case.
I’d like it to look like the pre-Kenyan America. However, I believe that it will look like Mexico does now. Americans will be sneaking across the border into Mexico and points south to escape the tyrannical U.S. government, poverty and drug cartels running this country. Mexico will be the only country in this hemisphere where you’ll be able to get decent health care.
1. Abortion outlawed

3. Churches filled to the brim on Sundays
4. Households full of children
5. Homeschooling is the norm
6. Strong national security & defense
7. A truly free market - no more crony capitalism
8. A strong dollar
Basically, full restoration of the Constitution & faith in Almighty God. I pray it happens.
Well reading that made me think of this saying
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.
Sadly I think we are though and I wont be here to see it
Our future will be a devolution to lows I can’t concieve.
I’m 65. What the hell do I care?
Fractured. Non English speaking. Extreme poverty. Civil war between non English speaking States and minority English Speaking States. Rampant racism.
In perspective, 30 years ago was 1983, and 50 years ago was 1963.
In April of 1983, April 4 First flight of the Space Shuttle Challenger. April 18 The U.S. Embassy bombing in Beirut which killed 63 people.
In April of 1963, April 7 Yugoslavia is proclaimed to be a socialist republic, and Josip Broz Tito is named President for Life. April 10 The U.S. nuclear submarine Thresher sinks 220 miles (350 km) east of Cape Cod; all 129 crewmen die.
Johnny, I am likely older than you, and I expect to still be around.
That said, I expect to see the Republic fully restored...the Republic that our Founders gave us. I also expect to see safeguards added that make it a lot more difficult for the commie-leftist-dems to do again what has been done in the last 100 years or so...and especially beginning with FDR. No more of that kind of crap. I also expect to have a hand in the restoration...in whatever manner might be required to achieve it.
See my tag line...
a muslim ghetto in France.
BUT the good news is because of our staunch Christ like adhence to our principles Mitt didnt get his way.
We are far better off with a any dem than a less them perfect conservative.
Can you say President Clinton again?
She will be our next president.
Without even knowing who will run against her, I can state that he or she will not get our support.
Flying cars.
But, as their old and sickly protoplasm gradually putrefies and expires, their children and grandchildren will have grown increasingly weary of big government. We will no longer be an aging society and there will be a renewal of the American spirit.
Once this crop of grasping seniors is gone, this will become a great country again.
