DP says the mechanic says mumble mumble transmission about the purple car, which would explain the engine racing while in neutral.
Glarb.

I hope you get to go over soon and carry him about. I’m sure your daughter would enjoy a shower and the opportunity to chew a meal.

No looking a gift horse in the mouth, for certain. However, the poor thing could really use some help...

That’s the rub. Their apartment is in my basement.
I guess she wants to do it her way, so I’ll wait.

I thought you thought that we are peculiar for multiple reasons. Guilty. Now, just enjoy the journey like the rest of us noobs do!

I was incredibly amazed that the Mod Gods even show up here. Once I saw that a comment was deleted and I thought, “Whiskey Tango Halifax!) Sheesh!

You fix the one with a sewing machine and the other with an iron.

catastrophic bloody mayhem. Gee, in my old neighborhood, touch football was same. That is probably before the interwebs were invented by you-know-who.

"Now, just enjoy the journey like the rest of us noobs do!" Journey?
In our few years together, we have traveled around the world, sent an expedition to the moon, (leaving some intrepid robots to tend what passes for a garden there, until we can get back), blasted off from Earth to make our way to Mars, set up a colony there, (more robots too), and lassoed a sizable asteroid out here in the Asteroid Belt.
We send out shuttles to retrieve material from the rocks around, and volatiles from the icy moons of Jupiter and Saturn, and we're planning to set up floating cities in the atmosphere of Venus, and maybe a mining consortium on the poles of Mercury.
What makes you think it's a journey?

Asked Mr. Sg about engine racing while in neutral, he said it depends upon the car, he asked what kind of car it is, I said “Purple”, and he zoned out. I tried.

The Purple Car is a 1996 Mercury Tracer. It wasn’t much when we bought it, when Anoreth was learning to drive, and it’s been through some HARDSHIP, especially with Bill. Other things being equal, we can probably nurse it until fall when Anoreth is ready to retail the Neon. By then, Tom will have a license and Elen will have a permit. *shudder*
