Had brain lapse moment! Interesting.......her name is Shanah from Rosh Hashanah....
Our collie is " Shallie"...her name on the paper's is Glorious Shalom!
When we were coming across the Rockies after purchasing her over 10 years ago, I looked at her in the carrier, and she had spent her first night with us in the hotel, as a peaceful puppy !
I knew there was only one name....Shalom! Peace!
She has been all of that and more!! The most peaceful dog we have ever owned!
Here she is as a pup!
LOLOL....such a sweet graphic OT!
We do love our doggies!
She’s a beauty, polly!
Gail, what a cutie pie Libby is!
....thanks OT... and she knows it too! When she is groomed she knows papa is going to take her around the block. Big show off!! LOL
My My..what did Doggie do to get into trouble this time?
Quite typical! ;)
Doggie was probably just being a doggie! As you know, they do that! lol
LOL.
EDven Linda-the-Dog can be a real animal sometimes.
Libby is just a week weaned, and she does not like kibble yet, nor canned food, we want MILK and cow’s milk is a no-no for them Pancratitis (SP?) is a frequent result, and after spending what I consider a fortune on a puppy I won’t risk it. Libby yipped, wined all of the past 3 nights, thankfully their are 2 doors between our room and where she is. She will now follow me room to room...potty training and leash training are going to be a must real soon. Had to buy a pair of shoe strings, tie them together and put a hook thing on the end to crate a leash, they don’t make them that small it seems. Found the right size collar, just no leash.

Warning labels are everywhere todayfrom new appliances to toys. Even medications include pages of small print about all that could possibly go wrong.
Gods Word is filled with warning labels, alerting us to things that are harmful to our spiritual health. When we read, These six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him (Prov. 6:16), it grabs our attention like a flashing warning signal. The list that follows (vv.17-19) warns against destructive tendencies like pride and dishonestysins that damage earthly relationships and grieve our heavenly Father. The text further states that reproofs of instruction are the way of life (v.23). In other words, Gods warnings arent meant to take the fun out of life, but rather to protect and preserve life.
Ill always remember as a child standing with my friend Bobby outside after church and watching him suddenly run toward the busy street. I heard his mother yell, Stop! It was a warning to protect him, not to hinder his freedom.
Too often weve ignored Gods warnings to stop running in the wrong direction and suffered the consequences. Lets remember that theres freedom in heeding His warnings. Theyre for our good.

Oh, Pollywog, Shallie is BEAUTIFUL!!!
Thank you for sharing your treasured pictures with us!
I had to put a harness on Shanah, because she grew out of her little collar, and was starting to pull so hard, that she would cough and gag. LOL!
She is totally housebroken now. The big problem is, that she is very intelligent, and after chewing her OWN toys a couple times, she looks for something NEW!
Yesterday, she chewed into the drywall in the laundry room, pulling off paper, plaster and drywall. Plaster and paper covered the room. (All that in less than ten minutes!)
I can hardly wait until she gets out of this puppy stage!
Amy, I’m so sorry I didn’t get here yesterday to enjoy your wolf opening! I just love it.
Hope you and the Just crew are having a peaceful Sunday!
