His comments were completely innocuous to the election. He was being gracious. The storm response will not save Obamas election. Christie was being authentic, to do otherwise would have tagged him as making Sandy political. A neutral action. No prob

I don’t think Gov. Christie saying a nice thing about the President is going to matter a whit to voters in Virginia.

He was just trying to be the adult in the room.

I do not live on the East or West coast but I keep up with Christie. He’s a Rino and will go to the White House any time he can. So glad he is supporting Obama today (sarc)

Christie's praising O for his quick response but how does Obama respond in non-election events.

Oh, for Pete’s sake, what was Christie supposed to say? Obama holds the purse strings. Christie is truly grateful that Obama opened his purse and cut through some of the red tape.

You cannot even imagine the mess that Christie may be dealing with in NJ. All we have heard about is the domestic impact. I bet that there is a huge industrial impact, as well. Think of all those coal terminals and other hazardous manufacturing and shipping sites along the Jersey coast. It’s not all beaches, you know.

For crying out, the jug eared one put on his big boy pants and is playing presidential so he can look good pretending to answer the phone and Crispy Cream falls hook line & sinker for it! I could understand a statement that he was grateful for the cooperation & assistance from the Feds, but to gush like a schoolgirl over Jughead was nauseating. He would have got the same response from the Feds no matter who was Prez. Does he really think Jughead is running the operations?

What a RINO! I don't think Tea Partiers are going to be gushing over Crispy in the future.

Is this genuine praise or is Christie looking to run for president in four years?

I started wondering this yesterday. If Romney wins Christie can forget about running for 8-16 years. If Osama wins he can run in 2016 as the great uniter not divider. I tell you this, he can kiss my lilly white ...

Tip the scales maybe. The rude slob should have kept from slobbering all over Obama.
