Something like that. Either how much could get through -- or how much resistance. More likely the former??? I dunno...
I do not precisely recall, probably because I didn't much understand the explanation, in that I couldn't make sense of the voltage range annotations even as I looked at the tables [of numbers].
I've had been wading through so much information, it has became difficult to keep track of what was found where. That, and I wasn't purposing to be studying honey, per se. Sorry.
But the idea of testing for mono-floral pollens in honey using electricity certainly stuned my beeber when I stumbled across it.
The main focus of my self-guided research was in interest of combining a few ideas, some research, and an open source patent into a varroa attraction trap of sorts.
To be honest, it's still much more in the investigative stages. I may need to avoid a host of other bug stickum sort of patents, too. For if I could make it work, i would want it to be affordable --- and I'd like to keep it out of the hands of corporations whom might seek to file yet another patent.
Interestingly, there was just a thread here the other day about how the nature, form and content of patent filings have changed.
It used to be someone would have an invention, a drawing and an explanation. Now, its more like people are trying to patent vague principles behind an idea, hoping to cover all which may otherwise later develop & fall within that realm of possibility.
JDB just got into beekeeping over the last year or so, and has posted some good info in the past. She was hosting the FR garden ping list for several months; but she hasn't posted in a while. You might post this suggestion on the garden thread to see if it generates any interest...I think it will...I'm looking into it, myself. Honey is certainly good for you, and a couple of hives have the added benefits of keeping kids, dogs and annoying neighbors off your property. :-)
Sort of. The urinal was the honey bucket. We dumped them one the honey wagon. It was bowser full of piss.
