Good news!

I used to live close to downtown Las Vegas, and the second year that NASCAR races were held here, my apartment was in the helicopter flight path from the heliport at McCarran to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It was, indeed, quite a show! For several days.

I’m glad to hear they are getting some control over the fires. Hang tough, girl!

It rained here last night, conveniently after the bonfire party Tom and Elen were attending.

I went to an educational event at church this morning. We watched a very interesting video about women religious in the United States. And we had muffins. Someone has to pick Elen up at her choir practice at 1:30.

I’ve discovered, much to my dismay, that I must drink strong tea if I expect to be stress-free in the areas that count. (It’s called a “binding agent,” probably because of the tannins.)

Yesterday, I did 20 minutes on the Gazelle, and learned that I need a) a basket to hold the CD player in and, b) a new CD player. I got this one while I was still working so I’m surprised that it is even still able to function. But it’s a Sony, so it should be good.

Anyway, I found them both at Walmart online, so I can get them when I want.

I will try to do 20-30 minutes every other day to see if it will have any impact on the BP. The numbers are coming down, but I’m still experimenting with food and herbal remedies. The top number has dropped an average of 20 points, and the bottom number is still anybody’s guess. However, I AM encouraged!
