So why the tagline? Do you figure that voting for Romney isn't voting for getting screwed by the DC thugs again? Not mad or anything, just curious ...
If you are gonna be a mudslinger, own up to it.
Run as a Democrat. Vetting is for Republicans. Just ask Obama.
I have not seen the RY screed. Apparently, someone invested a lot of time in the effort.
Two simple answers: you have at least one vicious enemy here or one or more freaks at TBL are fooling with you.
**************************
Exactly right.
I don't think I could quite pull that off.
The first time I called my fellow dems "smacktard hosebags" would kill the deal.
Since no evidence has appeared that you did, it should be assumed that you did not unless some evidence shows up.
Would yo agree with that premise?
If so, there is also no evidence that any FReeper created a false identity on TBL just to screw you over. Yet, you have already tried to imply that that is what happened and have already discounted the idea that the false identity could have originated right out of TBL.
You really should give the same respect to FReepers, regarding this issue as you are demanding from them.
Maybe it is time we had a JD drinkin', poker playin', motorcycle ridin', sharpshooin' scounderel in the white house kickin' ass.
We are not talking "proof". We are talking evidence.
Rogue Yam says he never signed up at TBL. Somebody did under that name and posted vile, personal comments about the owner of this site.
Is RY lying? Did he go over there, sign up, post something vile, change his mind, come back here, and then deny it just so he could stay? Well, based on RY"s last few posts it sounds like he's about to bail so I kind of doubt it?
So why do you think it impossible that some snake masquerading as a Freeper went over there to try to get rid of him by making vile posts under his name?
Those marches in Austin around the State Capitol were some great days, my friend. I remember them fondly and would do it again if needed in and instant (I’m a native TExan and was donw in the area consulting)...though after my cancer suregeries I’d not be able to march as fast, or as long without sitting down and resting some.
A few months later, in July-Aug 2001, Klamath Falls came along and good friends being trampled on by out of control Federal over-reached beckonfed again, ands I was happy to go there and help too.
God bless. I believe we are going to win in Novemebr and kick this bunch of marxist/progressives out. I also believe ROmmney is going to surpirse a lot of uis and be a good president who ppresides over a turn around as great if not greater that what happened with Reagan. At least I pray it is so.
AMERICA AT THE CROSSROADS OF HISTORY

Posting a lot and reading a lot are two different things.
I am sad to see that Quix, a long-time FReeper FRiend and good Christian, has presumed where he would have been smarter to have resisted that temptation. My prayers are with and for him.
“Is RY lying? Did he go over there, sign up, post something vile, change his mind, come back here, and then deny it just so he could stay? Well, based on RY”s last few posts it sounds like he’s about to bail so I kind of doubt it?”
Or could it be that he’s upset that conservatives here won’t listen to his Romney love, upset that they argue forcefully with him about it and make him look bad, so he goes off the deep end and pulls this crap for real?
An equal possibility and no way to know for sure. But he sure was mad at a whole tot of us for not caving in to his tantrums.
Coming in a bit late here. I see you got your answers. I haven't been lurking/posting long enough to be familiar with that, really. If a person is interested in Freeper lore, there's a lot to catch up on, so I learn as I go....
1. You already post over there.
2. After a long absence (not long enough in many peoples minds) you suddenly show up on this very thread to give your support to RY.
You obviously have the means and the motive and the whole thing looks a little suspicious.
That said, the GOP is a big, complex organization whose agenda includes conservatism as but a subsidiary component.
That is the nature of political parties. Promoting some particular ideology is only one part of their agenda, and every party contains individuals who have ideological differences.
If conservatives split off from the GOP and join an existing minor party (or form a new one), as some here on FR have advocated, then that new party will still pursue goals other than the advancement of conservatism and contain ideological disagreements within itself. That is just how politics is.
No political party will ever entirely please any one individual member, and a political party big enough to win the White House and control both houses of Congress will necessarily have won the votes of many people who disagree with one another on at least some important issues. That is just math.
The tea part movement has been the most substantive and effective grassroots political movement in America in decades, and it has raised the importance placed on conservative principles within the GOP. This is a wonderful thing.
At the same time, Romney won the nomination and the USSC crapped all over the Constitution.
So what to do? I say we continue the process of making the GOP more conservative. That is what I have been doing here on FR, and it is what I intend to continue doing.
Some people are campaigning against Romney on this site using tactics that are unreasonable and dishonest. I think this is bad for conservatism and so I object to it here.
Some people are fomenting defeatism on this site. I think this is bad for conservatism and so I object to it here.
I am not saying that my every one of my thousands of posts here has been completely beyond reproach, but in very large measure I have posted substantively, intelligently, rationally, and honestly. Anyone who impugns my moral character based on what I have posted on FR is speaking untruth.
The best way to answer that would be to say that I adhere to the “Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy” ... a beginning quote is show below with the link given, too ...
Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy with Exposition
Background
The “Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy” was produced at an international Summit Conference of evangelical leaders, held at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago in the fall of 1978. This congress was sponsored by the International Council on Biblical Inerrancy. The Chicago Statement was signed by nearly 300 noted evangelical scholars, including James Boice, Norman L. Geisler, John Gerstner, Carl F. H. Henry, Kenneth Kantzer, Harold Lindsell, John Warwick Montgomery, Roger Nicole, J. I. Packer, Robert Preus, Earl Radmacher, Francis Schaeffer, R. C. Sproul, and John Wenham.
The ICBI disbanded in 1988 after producing three major statements: one on biblical inerrancy in 1978, one on biblical hermeneutics in 1982, and one on biblical application in 1986.
The following text, containing the “Preface” by the ICBI draft committee, plus the “Short Statement,” “Articles of Affirmation and Denial,” and an accompanying “Exposition,” was published in toto by Carl F. H. Henry in God, Revelation And Authority, vol. 4 (Waco, Tx.: Word Books, 1979), on pp. 211-219.
The nineteen Articles of Affirmation and Denial, with a brief introduction, also appear in A General Introduction to the Bible, by Norman L. Geisler and William E. Nix (Chicago: Moody Press, rev. 1986), at pp. 181-185. An official commentary on these articles was written by R. C. Sproul in Explaining Inerrancy: A Commentary (Oakland, Calif.: ICBI, 1980), and Norman Geisler edited the major addresses from the 1978 conference, in Inerrancy (Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 1980).
Clarification of some of the language used in this Statement may be found in the 1982 Chicago Statement on Biblical Hermeneutics

Amen, amen, AMEN!! I am so grateful to and for Jim Robinson, a genuinely courageous American. I hope everyone hear donates more than ever to the FReepathon.
So you counter tactics you deem unreasonable and dishonest by engaging in the dishonest tactic of claiming that those you disagree with are Obama supporters?
Pot. Kettle. Black. The high road you perceive yourself to be upon is just a figment of your imagination.
Hi, Marcella-—how are you?
I understand how you feel. I recently posted a link to another thread about Romney’s apparent plans to institute his health care plan with the help of FL attorney general, Pam Bondi. One of the more vociferous Romney supporters called me a deranged liar, LOL.
I don’t care how others vote and I’m not trying to tell them how or what to do. But it seems obvious that denying you actually hate Romney will go nowhere.....”hate” is the way some folks are determined to portray it.
Aren’t you a member of TBL, Tribune?
