I listend to this YouTube version of a Buxtehude Alleluia and got fascinated both with the music and the painting that the YouTube poster showed during most of the playing of the music (the first art work that briefly appears is thought by some to be a painting of Buxtehude).
Unfortunately, the art work on the actual CD cover is not as inspiring as the YouTube art work. I keep seeing various things, a huge face, small figures, etc., in the YouTube painting. I keep wondering who painted it.
Enjoy.

the “Legend” album by Poco. Shows a nicely stylized drawing of a galloping horse (which was actually drawn by Phil Hartman, the late comedian)

People still buy CDs? They still make CDs?
And if you are buying music for the picture on the cover, wouldn’t it just be cheaper to download the image?

Wanted to see what kind of music the man behind those eyes made. Wasn't disappointed.

Santana’s debut album, titled “Santana”.

"Disraeli Gears" by Cream certainly had a very 60s looking album cover. I think that album sums up the whole decade pretty well.

I'm surprised nobody has posted this gem yet:

That is to funny, it is almost surreal that it was actually a real album and real artist. I am laughing so hard. It reminds me of the SNL skit Sprockets with Mike Meyers.. Hahaa!
