Wouldn’t it be easier to just put up a Festivus
pole, less upkeep, more in keeping with the spirit
of Obamismus. Let the recitation of grievances
begin!

Federal officials say the National Christmas Tree planted near the White House a year ago has died and is being removed.Well, Michelle could have used more than 1 tree and spread it around for crying out loud!

If I were the National Christmas Tree, I wouldn't want to be anywhere near that Kenyan sonuvabtich and his foul Wookie stinkin' up the White House, I think I'd rather croak off too.

I truly believe that something is a miss in this event for us. Here is a tree that is supposed to grow naturally . It has the title Christmas tree for this permanent planted tree. Christ 's name is in the title of Christmas. His birthday anniversary.
It was planted in 1978 then is destroyed by winds in febuary of 2011. Which in the same year we have an earthquake that cracks the Washington monument . A symbol of the first president. Obama who is now in the line of this successer from the very beginning. Hmmmmm
Also I had a Christmas style tree on my front lawn from the 1960's. I was a kid. It got just too big we had to cut it down. Three times as big as house in a tight surban area. Healthiest tree ever. I believe a blue spruce? Hmmmmmm
I believe we can get signs. I see too many without fill up these pages on this thread.

So, I’m a little confused.
This isn’t like Rockefeller Center, they have a tree planted in the ground that they use as the “Christmas tree”.
That’s mighty green of them.
I’ll have to try and notice if my town does that too, I mean the next time I drive by I’ll see if our Christmas tree is still there.
And, so, this is basically 2 Xmas trees we’ve lost with Obama in the WH? Pretty bad.
What about Mormons, they do the tree thing right?
I’m sorry, to me it isn’t Christmas without a tree. It’s the German in me.
You know what would be kind of cool, if Romney wins he’ll go to church at the fabulous looking Mormon cathedral that always looks so great when you come around the beltway.
My kid calls it the Wizard of Oz church.
