They are stupid. They vote for Obama.
Raise the voting age.
Unless one is serving/has served in the military.
Congratulations to our education system (for over at least four decades). Their efforts finally paid off.
Insead of turning out pupils equipped to face all kinds of challenges they will face in the real world, our educators’ goal had been to create ‘obidient-’ and ‘group-’think young’uns.
We now have young adults who know how to get their friend circles/social groups for a feel-good common goal usually to “change the world”, but ill-prepared for consequences when the rest of the world refusing to change according to their wishes.
The future of these young’uns are some hard and fast adjustment to the real world.
It’s a great argument for denying the franchise to anyone under 30. Or maybe even under 40.
Exactly. The only excuse one has to be voting at that age.
Unless one is serving/has served in the military.
Change definition of citizen to
one who is serving/has served this country
(multiple pathways)
I think Christian America is a major buffer against the world's demise. I really don't expect America to go away until Jesus returns because there's so many praying Christians here. But After He comes, America will be like an empty shell and the whole world will quickly plunge into darkness. The Bible says, and you can see, how once it starts, it will all happen very quickly.
Blame the public teachers unions. The current generation’s ignorance is an intentional result of the unions’ plan to protect their members’ benefits.
1. Military service.
2. Age 30, plus one of the following:
2a. Land ownership. 2b. Business ownership.
2c. Income tax payer with taxable income in 7 consecutive years. (Assuming that we keep the income tax, of course.)
There could be a petition process so that citizens not meeting the criteria can seek the franchise, but the bar should be quite high. After all, few people who do not meet the criteria would be productive citizens.
Finally, the franchise should be denyed to or removed from anyone receiving public assistance (apart from veterans benefits) as such transfers of wealth create a conflict of interest.
I’ll add that anyone working for the government, again, absent military, should not be able to cast a vote. Hordes of government bureaucrats have absolutely zero business being enfranchised, since all they are doing is voting to fleece non-gubmint taxpayers for their overbloated salaries and benefits.

It’s the tattoo generation. Y someone would spend $$$ to graffitti their body suggests that they only want to get laid. Young women can do it without a tattoo. I prefer smoking myself.
I forgot to mention in my first post that there should be a limited number or petitions considered in any given year.
As much as I agree with you, unfortunately, they may have the last laugh as the stupidity will continue by re-electing Odumbo and providing such studies in our elementarty and high school systems, as well as more in college studies and business. My point—it will get much worse before it gets better.
I'd say the Millennials have a hard uphill climb ahead, mostly because they are starting out behind.
Check my tag. A rerun just for this thread.
Proud bleeding edge Boomer.
There was a reason why residents of DC were not supposed to be casting votes, for that very reason of conflict of interest. Briefly, after the Civil War, they gave DC a Delegate and elected Mayor. The Republicans elected were a fiasco (one of whom went on an orgiastic spending spree that was so bad, they had to dump the office of Mayor for the next 100 years and go to appointive Board of Commissioners).
It gets harder and harder to fend off the despair for our country’s future every day.
