If he were such a strong pro life supporter - the VERY LAST candidate he would CAMPAIGN for would be pro abortion Mitt.
And then add the sanctity of marriage - Rick is a compromiser for political favors w/another liberal platform - PRO HOMO MARRIAGE.
Slick Rick says one thing - but campaigns for the opposite. His values are ‘surface’ and NOT DEEP - they will move to where ever there is gain for him. He’s a dime a dozen, political hack, a known compromiser. The GOP E know who they can ‘use’ when in need.
You are basing it all on ‘if’. No one with true character compromises their values. That’s what gives them the rep of having true character - tried and tested! Rick can’t claim he has true character - he has an ‘excuse’ for all his COMPROMISES.
He was so concerned about the judges; yet for president he CAMPAIGNED for the very one who was for abortion and against the sanctity of marriage. He COMPROMISED.
You guys don’t care to vet your candidate but when the time is right, after they feel Newt has no chance, the media, Mitt, RP, Barry will do it for you. And then you will see how you had part in handing over our country to the enemy. And guess what, RS knows the deal but, you see, he’s a compromiser - he’s doing it for the TEAM. And the TEAM ain’t you/America but the party/GOP E. They WILL get their way by your hand and on your back.
So tired yet you HAD to respond. LOL! Like slick Rick - says one thing and does another.
Your non-sequitur response to me shows that Santorum-bashers will saddle on literally anything — including the fact that this Specter endorsement has been posted a lot both as a topic and as standalone replies inside other topics.
I’m not an endorser of him - I don’t want the mitt stain on me. And I don’t follow threads or research on who/why rick endorsed - I have a life - and he’ll have some excuse depending on the day. Now saddle up and skedaddle.
FWIW, Santorum became a senator in 1994 and that because of Specter’s support. In the 1996 presidential campaign, Specter never ran in a single primary. His was more an exploration of viability than an actual campaign, and Santorum returned the favor and voiced support for Specter’s exploration.
If you remember the era, Clinton was president, Dole was in charge of the senate with Trent Lott as his right hand man, and it was Dole who eventually got the nod running against Clinton and Ross Perot.
