"Wear Red" Friday
You will soon see a lot of people wearing Red on Fridays. Here's why..... The Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not "organized" to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like yourself, and all their friends, simply want to recognize that Americans support our troops. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops is starting Friday and continuing on each and every Friday, until this is over, that every red-blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED.
Word of mouth, press, TV -- let's see if we can make the United States, on any given Friday, a sea of red much like a home football game at a University. If every one of our memberships share this with other acquaintances, fellow workers, friends, and neighbors, I guarantee that it will not be long before the USA will be covered in RED - and make our troops know there are many people thinking of their well-being. You will feel better all day Friday when you wear Red! So let's get the word out and lead by example; wear RED on Fridays.
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. FOR US, THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED!! GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Hi Meg! Checking in before work today. Feeling less tired this morning. I try to stay out in the greenhouse until 7 every night. I have way too much to do, but it is OK because I no longer grow mums from May to October. I just have to get through spring season until June. I call it semi-retirement. I like it. Last year was the first time I didn’t grow mums and had time for the horses and other fun stuff. It is good to work again too. I feel better being busy now. I was not used to being off for so many months. When ever it is I quit the greenhouse stuff, I would like to get a part time job somewhere just to be around people.
Gets lonesome working here by myself. Talk radio is great and makes the day more fun. Cheers!

So good to see you, Yorkie. It seems that lately when you are here, I’m gone. :(
Been keeping you in my prayers. I’ve lost your address. I had planned to send Jaycee email asking for it. Sure hope you are continuing to improve.
I know PT isn’t fun. :) My BIL is now home and the therapist comes out 3 times a week to check on how he is doing.
Please keep us updated to how you are doing.
Big hugs.

Hi, Ms. Amy! I have missed you and Amy’s Place SO much - but with the straps, splints and braces, it was almost impossible to type.
The therapists, nurses, health care workers and doctor’s appointments have kept me busier than I’ve been in years!
I will FReepmail you my address, here at my son’s. (((HUGS)))

Hi, Meggers!
Sure is good to sit at the kitchen table and ‘connect’ with my special friends, once again!
Yesterday, I had an appointment with the orthopedic physician (referred by the Internist), and after a lot of x-rays, he determined the the brace and sling were no longer needed - and fit me with a new sling, that is easier to put on and remove. My right elbow must still be close to my body at all times, and the new sling does just that.
The sternam, clavical, scapula, ribs and shoulders are all healing as expected. (He even told me that I may get back to my trapeeze act, soon. LOL!)
Good to ‘see’ you, Meg!

The week always starts,
With me opening my eyes,
And I pine for you
Friday oh Friday, I love you!
Monday and Tuesday
Has me yawning all the while,
Wednesday can be such a shrew
Friday oh Friday, I love you!
Thursday brings hope
Once the others slowly left,
After sticking on like glue
Friday oh Friday, I love you!
You wake me up with a smile,
Put a skip in my feet,
And I whistle a merry tune too,
Friday oh Friday, I love you!
Saturday can be fun,
Sunday snoozy, cozy and lazy,
But you are the only star true
Friday oh Friday, I love you!
I love my job,
Dont get me wrong,
Yet without you I feel blue
Friday oh Friday, I love you!
Of all the days in the week
Friday oh Friday, I love you!
