I’m glad the owner was found. (Kinda)
I am going to the humane society today.
A neighbor’s home was forclosed and went up for auction yesterday. They have two dogs, one I have puppy-sat for, and just adored.
I have the feeling that they may have abandonded him, as they never really liked him too much. If he is there, I will be bringing him home with me. He is the sweetest, most loving furry kid.
It always made me feel bad the way they ignored him - and pampered and praised the other dog they had.
(I may be in trouble - looking into the eyes of hundreds of dogs that need a loving home.)

You may not believe it but I had told Debbie I had a friend in Arizona that loved the dog. And I asked her what they would charge to ship (fly) that dog to Arizona and a little while after I checked Facebook and she was telling everyone that they had located the owners. (they must not take care of it or it would have at least had a collar on!!)
What kinda dog are you looking at? I’m so excited, please let me know what you do. I have thought about going to the dog place where they put them down eventually if someone doesn’t adopt and I felt the same as you.....it would kill me seeing so many lonely eyes looking toward me. That would break my heart. But then again, I could save one dog or cat’s life. (((HUGS)))

Well, he’s a mix - thin, tall, weighs about 65 lbs, black and white markings. (I think he is a mix of water terrier and possibly spaniel - though his ears are short.)

With a face like that, he needs a big hug....
And I wish I could give him a big hug. Notice in the pic, he’s lying beside his food or water bowl.....LOL!
My dog who is deaf and blind can find her dish of food and water. If I wanted to be mean, I’d move them to the other side of the kitchen, but I won’t...we take life one day at a time and she still wags her tail...when Ilet her our she still find the place where she poo’s and pees but once in a while gets turned around the wrong way and I have to go out and get her going in the right direction...When she is done she lays down in the garage behind the car, but needs a nose bumper to protect her only sense she has left...Cannot put anything down in the wrong place or she bumps into it, I think she goes by memory and sometimes I see her walking close to the wall to get into the living room...all in all adjusting fine...I had to quit feeling sorry for her and giving her too many snacks, getting too fat....sometimes she stands in the middle of the room and I have to get her going in the right direction, then she’s fine....GG

I didn’t get back to your last post. I knew your dog was blind but I’m not sure I knew it was deaf. If I did, I forgot, which wouldn’t be past me. Bless its sweet heart. I’m so glad he’s with someone like you that has love beyond compare.
I hope he continues doing well until his time comes to go to Rainbow Bridge. Bless you for being a kind mama to your furry kid.
I think I told you that my brother’s dog has lost his sight and he’s a fairly young dog. Charlie said he pretty well had the house memorized before this happened and that he does very well. They love him to death and the dog spends a lot of time in my brother’s lap being loved or taking a nap while my brother reads on his kindle.
Did you post a pic of your dog? Something else I’ve forgotten....LOL!

Hi Amy, thanks for the beautiful bird in the snow. Its nice seeing you today. I’m getting ready for a nap. I went for my hair today and fixed lunch when I got home. Its almost 3:30 here and I need a nap badly! Just really tired. Glad you and Marissa went to the movies together. Thats always fun.
I’ve been dying to see “The Help” and its on that movie thing I have...On demand. I plan to watch it one night real soon. I bet its great. Have you seen that advertised? It was on at the theatre not long ago and the reviews were great! See you soon!
