When I first saw the picture, I thought of the Easter Island statues. So I did a quick Wiki on it, and found that Easter Island is Chilean. It is pretty far off of the continent, but if travel from EI to Chile or Chile to EI was possible, I wouldnt rule out Peru either. Maybe it was a religious thing.

Yes there were, and in Peru of all places. The “alien” story is as old as the discovery of the first bound baby skulls. Nothing to see here, and I have no idea why the media would recycle such an old story. I suppose the author and the source publication are dolts is a fine excuse.

It would appear that part of the reason why the head is half the total length of the mummy, might be because the mummy seems to be missing the legs or even more.

From this angle the skull does not look as unusual:

I’m sure the History Channel will have a show about these skulls within the next month or so.

The "soft spot" seems to still be open, and I don't see any fused sutures, so this was obviously a relatively newborn alien. /s No doubt less than a 14 months old.

LOL ............ I really get a kick out of how anything that might be anomalous as being instantly attributed to being "Alien" in origin!! ...... Yup, as if there is no other explanation that could resolve the mystery. I was channel surfing one day and stopped on one of those "Ancient Alien" style shows. I don't recall exactly what the topic was, but this one charlatan actually offered up "The fact there is no proof is proof"...

The chance of an alien being a near replica of a human being aside from a slightly larger head and smaller body are probably so small you’d be more likely to get hit by lightning while winning the lottery riding a meteor.

Interesting. At the very least, this is a mutation if it’s a real find and not a hoax. While the cranial vault is huge, and I don’t think it’s from binding as suggested due to the plate sutures not binding.. as was mentioned in another post giving a young age.
But what really gets me is the bone structure of the jaw. The area around the lower canine structure bulging as it does is not normal.
It could be legitimately alien but I’d lean more towards a severe mutation if the DNA shows terrestrial origins.

Newspapers in South American countries continue to report Hitler sightings... And newspapers/TV in North American countries continue to report Elvis sightings. I guess it just depends on what people are obsessive about.

Things are really boring on the other side of the galaxy. Plus, aliens are perverts! I hadn't thought of that. Now it seems so obvious...
