Yes...It’s a Red Bellied woodpecker..I see them now and then at my birdfeeder..Love em.

Me, too! Every bird is beautiful in its own way. I also see those woodpeckers around here and sometimes I HEAR them~~~!!

I love to look at them, too, Meg.....but what I don't love about them is what they have done to my tree by my front porch! Ring after ring of holes - (and there are no insects in the tree, because I have it treated by an arborist every year!)
(I have even tried squirting them with a water pistol - LOL!)
Those ‘cute’ little woodpeckers are so brave, they just keep pecking at my tree when I’m on the front porch.....just three feet away from me!

Yes, *sniffles*, you have a good memory. The horror (it’s been a very whacky year at that company) starts again tomorrow and I’m trying to block it out. So, all these great graphics and verses from the Bible are helping :0)) And being among friends, of course :0))

We ALL have something to be thankful for! (I know a few who would never claim to but, they are clueless!)
It’s the squirrels who do damage here..to the eaves of my house and the wiring in the attic..I back up to woods..so I just have to endure it and pay for repairs.

Sometimes when I can’t post, I try to read the other’s and try to keep up with whats happening. I hope SOME time off has helped you some. You’ll just have to look forward to the next break and I hope it won’t be as long to wait. Hoping things go smoothly for you as you head back to the mine fields...LOL!

Ah, thank youuuu, sweetie! It HAS helped tremendously, and I only have to wait until Thanksgiving Week for two more days off (I’m a spoiled brat). That’s what I’ll try to do — keep reading here daily even if I can’t post. :-0)
Oh my goodness, they are doing art work on your tree. What kind of tree is that, yorkie? Those constant marks are just unbelievable.
