Good morning, all. A toasty 42 outside with a high today of 65, and this place was at 64 when I got up. Brrrrr! I want my summer back!

The little parakeet has a name, finally. We call him The Stig, as in BBC’s Top Gear. (We had to name him something, didn’t we?)

My absence from here is abhorable. I apologize. I will repent.

My CT scan is scheduled for the morning of the 12th. The Cardizem is messing with me.

I’m glad you and The Stig have formed a first-name acquaintance. It’s 47 outside, here, with a high of 67 forecast, followed by rain tonight.

My co-leader is doing “Using Tools” at Cub Scouts tonight, so all I should have to do is smile and look clueless, after organizing the flag ceremony.

The Stig sits in front of a large window, which is much better than the corner he was in at my place. (I’m at the Busdaddy’s for a few days)

He is currently checking out the rebound effects of his voice in such a large room as the dining area. And he likes noises. He DID hear a bird ourside yesterday, and that sent him in to a string of queries.

Cruelty to animals in a lot of cases can be cured by simple education. But in others, stupidity should hurt. The Stig has a really nice cage (looks like a breeding cage, with a large door) but there are no toys in it.

I don’t wish the prior owner any bad luck, but I hope s/he has nightmares for the rest of his/her natural life about giant parakeets chasing him/her.

At least he was fed and must have had some socialization, to be so chirpy. I hope you both enjoy your visit.
