And how would you describe what BO has put on the SC? (not WHO, but WHAT!)

Truthfully, don’t care if you vote or not, I just don’t understand your logic.

OK, here’s the way I look at it:

This country is going off the edge of a cliff. It’s going to take a serious conservative to turn this ship.

If we instead elect a RINO, the country will continue to fall off the cliff (a little slower than with Zero). We will have wasted our shot to prove to the American public that conservatives have the answer.

The average American doesn’t see a difference between a conservative and a Republican. They’re going to have the impression that both sides are screwed up and that it doesn’t matter who’s in office.

If we, as conservatives, support a RINO; we will never again have a shot to get a real conservative in. 2016 will be a frustrating, confusing time with both sides blaming the other for our country’s downfall and the public pretty disheartened and not knowing where to look.

I do not think that another four years of Obama will *destroy* America. I think that it’ll firmly entrench us in a depression.

This will cause enough pain that the average Joe will finally wake up and realize that the liberal socialists are the enemy. With Obama as the figurehead of the economic failing of the greatest country on earth, the tide will turn conservative for an entire generation.

So, the question for me is this: Do I want the country to go to hell under a democrat or a rino republican? Which scenario will benefit the conservative cause and America the most in the *long run*? Do I want another Obama or a Hillary in the White House in 2016? (Which is what we’ll get if we allow a RINO to run us off a cliff)

If we can’t get a solid conservative in the White House in 2012, it’s better to let the Dims fail in the public eye and turn the tide of politics for a generation to come.

I’m sorry if this explanation is a bit choppy. I’ve got hubby and the kids stomping through the room and the phone has run four times since I started typing! 8-\

I don’t say that as a good thing at all.

I agree. It seems the GOP and the evil left are determined to transform our Republic. At times it seems maddening.

We are sliding towards something destructive and it seems there is nothing that can be done to prevent it. Very dark days lie ahead.....

It is the only logical conclusion.

No chance I would ever vote for Romney. Even with Obama as the alternative. If the GOP wants my vote, they have to earn it, and running leftists like Romney isn’t the way to do that.

Keep the House, take the Senate, absolutely. But my vote for President will be third-party or blank if Romney is on the GOP line.

“The average American doesn’t see a difference between a conservative and a republican.”

Excellent observation! Both have been portrayed as one and the same.

“If we can’t get a solid conservative in the white house in 2012, it’s better to let the dims fail in the public eye and turn the tide of politics for a generation to come.”

IMHO, we are swinging in a leftist direction that we may not be able to reset in 2016. The gate was opened by FDR, and the road was paved by LBJ. We are in the what, 3rd, 4th, or even 5th generation of welfare recipients who will gladly sit on their collectivist a$$@$ and vote dhimmicrat to keep those checks coming in.

I am by NO MEANS endorsing Romney, but at this juncture, he seems to be the leader of the pack. We do need a solid conservative to lead us, but many will not step to the plate because of the torture and humiliation they, and their family and friends will be put under via the lame stream media coverage.

I believe our true “hope and change” will be to get those sorry a$$ excuses, who call themselves Americans, off the welfare rolls and into the job force. That will open their eyes to what conservatism is. Or at least a glimmer of it.

I’ll vote against Obama, even if it is for Mitt.
But I’m not convinced that there would be a big difference between a Romney administration and Obama’s. At best, we’d some brakes applied. Nothing would be rolled back and there would be no bold plans.

I think you’re wrong. I’ll bet Romney will sign any bill the Republicans put in front of him. If people turn out and give him a solid GOP Congress, he’ll sign everything.
