And the expedition was dirt cheap compared to space exploration. And the govt. actually happened to have the money at the time. Nice try.
So, it doesn't matter to you whether it's Constitutional, as long as it's really cheap. Nice try.

Didn’t someone achieve a breakthrough to dramatically reduce the refining cost of titanium metal recently? If they succeed, it could mean automobiles that are way lighter than even aluminum-bodied cars but with just as much structural strength.

There’d be no lunar currency or lunar market, so the stuff mined would be taxed by the polity in control where it arrived as an import. :’)

The Constitution provides for admission of new states.

How does that not apply off planet? Same thing, dude.

The Moon has a constant source of solar energy. If there is hydrogen there, you have water and oxygen. Transportation costs might be costly.

Been waiting for them to find something of real value on the Moon or on any of the other planets since 1969. Moon Maidens, Amazonian Women, or even those green skin Orion slave girls. I can’t wait much longer, I’m not getting any younger.

I also read the book. LOL

the monolith in 2001 was rectangular with side dimensions in the ratio of 1:4:9. The squares for the first three prime numbers.

If you’re talking about Lewis & Clark, they were sent to explore land just purchased by the United States. And the expedition was dirt cheap compared to space exploration. And the govt. actually happened to have the money at the time. Nice try.

I'm refering to the entirety of the 37 (44 in bambiland) added, not original, somehow colonized, but obviously not Constitutionally, in your mind, States.

Old news. I learned about this in the 1980s, and it was old news then.

Ilmenite has oxygen in it. Combine that oxygen with the hydrogen...

One of the most delightful moments of my life’s experiences was watching Buzz Aldrin deck some brainwashed ‘reporter’. Keeping in mind Mr. Aldrin was 72 at the time, it was quite a beautiful sight I must say.

A new record. Especially over the space of 10 minutes. One post was even after a reply. FR was non responsive (I thought).

Rookie mistake.
