She keeps talking about this being an unconventional election cycle, so what does that mean? A candidate entering a primary late does not make an unconventional election cycle. I think Palin does want to run, but she wants to make a risky gamble. I think she is going to announce that she is not going to run in the republican primary. Once the primary is over she will watch the Media turn on Romney or Perry and whichever one it is will be destroyed. Palin will then launch a third party campaign. I do not agree with this approach and I think it could ruin her career, but I have been wrong about Palin and her career moves in the past. The third party idea is so crazy that it's probably what she has in mind and it will probably work.

Are you so Sarah-crazed that you actually believe this? this is the most unpatriotic thing that Palin could do because it would absolutely ensure a second Obama term. It would NOT work because at MOST she would get 20%. As much as I like her and wish she would run (and I do NOT think she is running)...she is not stupid and I for one would NOT vote for her. I would be throwing my vote away.

This election is about defeating Obama. PERIOD! If that means I have to swallow hard a little then so be it. If that means we have to gradually turn this country back towards conservatism...than so be it. This all or nothing approach is going to kill us deader than a door nail. We will NOT make it through another 4 years with all our 5 supremes intact....if we make it through this 4 years.

Wake UP Freepers. Some of you are more danerous than democrats.

Palin has stated numerous times that she will not run Third Party and she is too intelligent to hand the country back over to Obama for 4 more years.

She is more of a Patriot than that.

Frankly, I started looking for an alternative about 2 months ago....and I think that if Palin does not win Cain or Perry will get the job done. If Palin gets in, she has my vote, energy and money behind her. But, there is a huge chance she doesn’t run.

Actually, Cain is impressing me. I’ve faced the music that Palin may not get in and the world won’t end...she is very young and can run in the future.

It’s time for all Palin supporters to get a plan B. Fantasies about a draft at the convention, Third Part are pure folly. WE CANNOT AFFORD TO GAMBLE THIS ELECTION, IT IS OURS TO LOSE.

There are a lot more people who know what Sarah Palin is thinking than there are people who know what Sarah Palin is thinking.

“launch a third party campaign.....”

HooBOy!!You must be channelin’ the DNC!!!That is EXACTLY what they and the “Bamster want and need to happen. That is the only calculus that leaves them in the White House until 2016.

Judging from Sarah's comments about these debates -- these debates are circular firing squads of the Republican candidates, directed by liberal Democrats.

That the Republican candidates are playing along, letting the liberals frame the terms of debate, letting the liberals pick the most liberal, anti-American candidates of the bunch for our nominee, is just more evidence that the Republican party is the stupid party.

America is a center-right population.

From Gallup in 2008, July 2010 and mid 2011:

Year 2008 2010 2011
CONSERVATIVES 37 40 41
MODERATES 37 35 36
LIBERALS 21 21 21

Sarah Palin can jump in next week, run with her common-sense, Constitutional conservative message (with which she is genuine and consistent), take her message directly to the people, avoid some or most of these disgusting non-debates. She will get the entire 41% of conservative votes, and half or more of the moderate votes, giving her about 60% wins in both the primaries and the general election.

Good. I'm not a Palin lover but I am totally sick of the republican party! Most are as crooked as the democraps! We didn't just wake up in this mess. We were all slow cooked by the dems and GOP! I want local/state run conservative parties that caucus on the national level. I hope she does run an independent path and pulls many conservatives out with her.

Long live the ACP (Alabama Conservative Party)!!!!!!!!

A third party trick will ruin her and the country!

I could see a plan to get her DRAFTED at the convention, but wow.... what a loooong shot to pull that off.

I believe Sarah would not run 3rd Party.

I think the fact that Conservatives so dislike Perry-Romney that we are now going back and taking another look at Second-Tier candidates like Herman Cain is what Sarah has been looking for.

The current GOP Debate field is an uninspiring dud. The McGinniss book is a flop that even the MSM is not interested in.

The field is clear for Sarah anytime in the next month or so.

Whoever posted this has offered a completely contradictory post

for example:
*****
Palin will then launch a third party campaign. I do not agree with this approach and I think it could ruin her career
*****

“It could ruin her career” — remember that phrase when we come to this part of the “analysis.”

*****
The third party idea is so crazy that it’s probably what she has in mind and it will probably work.
*****

“It will probably work”

So “It could ruin her career” and “It will probably work.”

If “it will probably work”, doesn’t that mean that Palin WOULD BE ELECTED PRESIDENT?????

And if you’re elected president — HOW THE HELL DOES THAT RUIN YOUR CAREER ? If you’re a politician, isn’t being elected president pretty much the APEX of your career? What’s better than that.

See, these Palin-bots are so star-struck that a growing number of them have checked their logic and critical thinking at the door.

If Palin, Perry, Romney, Cain, Santorum, Gingrich, or Bachman win the GOP nomination — AND THOSE NAMES ARE STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS AND IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER — I’m voting for them for president.

Of those, Romney and Santorum are my least favorite.

But any would be anywhere from 300 percent better to 300 million percent better than what we have now.

If would be exceedingly tough for me to vote for Paul or Huntsman or Johnson.

Beat Obama. Beat him with a conservative. Make Obama a one-term TOTUS. But job one — BEAT OBAMA.

Palin will then launch a third party campaign.

Palin said she won't go third party.

If there's anything else on your mind that I can help with don't hesitate to ask.

You guys have to have faith in what she decides to do. If she runs, then she thinks it's best for her and her family, if she does not, then you have to respect that decision as well.

Sarah has already proven she is a force to be reckoned with, just know that she will do what she believes is right and stand by her decision.

I think Palin knows better than to split the pubbie vote by going third party. No, I think she is planning on running ... but by holding out so long, she generates eeeeeeeeeeeeennnnnnnnnndless speculation (i.e., free advertising) in conservative blogging circles, plus she doesn’t have to go through the grilling in the GOP debates. She will ride in on a white horse at the last moment. Rah rah for her. (Yes, I’m sick of hearing about her, I admit. If she wins the nom then of course I will vote for her, but I certainly am not supporting her in the primaries. Enough is enough.)

RE :" Palin will then launch a third party campaign.

Bottom line prediction from comment #1. That allows the speculation to continue endlessly.

Alternatively she might just stay on FNC drawing a huge salary and continue to give us her 'expert' opinions on the race from the Greta show.

That and send out more Sarah-PAC donation letters.

Are you the first or are there others out there just like you who are keeping it to themselves?
