Mine eats pizza. She’s not crazy about the anchovies, though.

If I am not mistaken this failure took place in 1912, the same year that unusually large amounts of icebergs sand the Titanic. The weather was probably abnormally cold because of upper atmosphere ash from the great Katmai/Novarupta eruption.

Neigh, neigh, young stallion. I’m glad you trotted this out. Wither true or not, hands down, it’s a tail worth telling.

That's why I used the Beeferino reference. Kramer from Seinfeld feeds a carriage horse this item and the horse didn't handle it too well.

somewhere in the article it mentioned horses eating polar bear meat in antarctica.....there are no polar bears in antarctica

The horses ate them all.

Very interesting, OL .. thanks for the link !

If you've not seen the film Shackleton w/Kenneth Branagh, you should do so, as it's pretty great !

Odd, winter used to be my second favorite season.
But it seems to have gotten colder as I've gotten older.

You’re very welcome for the link.

I am TheOldLady, not Old Lady, who is another FReeper. [smiles]

Yes, I saw Branagh’s magnificent job in Shackleton.

If cold winters are bothering you, you may be living in the wrong state, LOL!

I have seen horses go for sausage pizza, thought it was the attraction of the salt.
