Your tagline speaks volumes!

Yes it does. Perry supporters can't deny he said it because he did.

You can read about it here and see that one of the loudest Perry supporters, not a Perry detractor, posted the article on FR as if it were something to be proud of.

Professor D,

Please how an “Illegal” can lawfully serve in the military.
Either they aren’t illegal, or they are LEGALLY on a LEGAL and current path to citizenship. An “Illegal” by definition, cannot.

I think you are totally FOS that you are a Prof/teacher of anything with logic like that.

No one wants the jobs they will take. No one.

Is that so? I see them every day. Working at McDonald's. Hanging drywall. Cleaning air conditioned offices.

You are so full of crap.

You're not denying it.

And my candidate is Palin, followed by Cain.

They pick onions for 10 hours in 104 degrees. No one wants the jobs they will take. No one.

Let me put this to rest very quickly. I work 14 hours a day, 65-70 hours a week. There are white boys, mexican boys and old men breaking butt. This "jobs Americans won't do is a bunch of BS...."

Stooping to that kind of ugliness?

Hey, personal attacks are uncalled for. Besides, I got this face from my Momma; however, her mustache was much thicker than mine.

Come on, Grizzled. I’ve always respected you, but that was beneath you.

Right. Where have we crossed paths? What topics have piqued both our interests? Do we know each other?

And for what? It didn’t hurt me a bit.

Is that why you felt compelled to respond?

Good night.

Have sweet dreams. I'll just hover here in the dark corner of your bedroom, just out of the light...biding the time until I creep close to you and devour your soul.

Nighty-night!

Hey Sal...I figured you'd get a kick out of this.

So we are going to expect people to take an oath to protect and defend our constitution (and mean it) when they didn't respect same when the entered this country?

A conservative. And given his record that precludes RINO Rick Perry.

I just lived in Texas forever and “get it.”

I always thought of Texans as patriots. This thread is making some of you look like Bay Area denizens.

I seem to recall a number of years ago the FEDS raided a meat packing plant in Iowa, I think it was... the next day the line of LEGALS applying for the positions was blocks long.

Abraham Lincoln was elected 150 years ago. Before the telephone, the automobile, flight, or the light bulb that Bachmann is fighting to save. That example may be a bit dated.

Carter, Clinton, Bush, Rockefeller, Bloomberg--these guys all had "gubernatorial executive experience." A lot of good that did us.

I'm not saying it did us any good. I'm saying that America is a country of 300+ million people, with a 225+ year history of holding elections. Our voting patterns and preferences are very consistent, and trying to run against them as though they're meaningless is to ignore a very significant ground truth.

It's a myth that 0bama is a failure because he lacked experience. He is a disaster because he is a communist committed to destroying America.

It's not exactly a myth. True, he would have failed at any time if he were actually tested. It was simply his lack of experience that let otherwise rational people imagine that he had a stellar career ahead of him. If he had a long, measurable career, say, as a governor, it clearly would have been one of failure. Experience and a record of past actions is an indicator of future performance.

Americans generally understand that principle and strictly demand it, which is why Obama is a very significant departure from our usual voting patterns. It's hoping for lightning to strike twice to think that they'll make that same deviation from the norm again.

I don’t like Mr. Perry due to many Globalist ties, that tend to take away our property rights and souvernity.

We live now in a nation of know it all’s (I am guilty of this, and I am wrong). Are Founders where the opposite in a big way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I pray that all of the people looking at this issue.
Fall humbly to there knees and ask for guidance, forgiveness, wisdom, and most Importantly for God’s light on the subject.

GOP hopeful Michele Bachmann gives personal, Christian testimonial in Orlando
Republican Presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann delivered a 43-minute speech on fiscal and foreign affairs issues on Saturday. ((Scott Powers, Orlando Sentinel) / August 27, 2011)

Excerpt:

“For most of the first half of her Solivita speech, Bachmann focused on her opposition to the recent debt ceiling increase deal. She repeatedly railed against the threat of China's emergence as an economic power, especially as it buys up American treasury bonds.”
