Actually it seems mostly it's Western women who think that.

There was a good long-time thread a couple years ago which eventually got zotted, but included some good observations on this subject.

It's not so much that Eastern women are submissive ego-boosters, it's that they are comfortable with the fact men and women are fundamentally different. Most do not want to be men's equals, and frankly find the idea of being like men a bit insulting.

LOL. Actually I didn't say anything about whether my observation included a component of relative status or power. It's funny, how preconceived positions can influence how something is interpreted. :)
