At least one hung jury. All of this was almost 20 years ago. I have refused to serve on jury duty since then. In NYC it is truly a horrible experience. Luckily, I haven’t been called in a very long time.
Once your name get put on a roll for jury duty in NYC, you get called every two years.
agree
I lived in Florida until the summer of 2009 (Bradenton) so I remember the beginning of this case very well. As soon as I learned Casey had been out partying while her daughter was "missing", I knew little Caylee was dead. Such a heartbreak, but I'm hoping and praying for justice.
Speaking of justice, I also remember the Haleigh Cummings disappearance from Satsuma, Florida. It sure would be nice to have some closure in that case, too.
Ashton’s stong points doesn’t include a long monologue.
He’s so mono and losing everyone.
He was outstanding in cross examinins.
Baez was the opposite.
I have not followed that one very closely, did they ever find her body?
You know, almost all of the talking heads keep insisting there’s “no physical evidence,” but there’s really a LOT of it. Are the “experts” simply not paying attention, or are they in Casey’s camp? Anyone who says there’s “no physical evidence” hasn’t been watching the trial, most especially the prosecutors’ closing.
It all comes down to that, doesn’t it? The duct tape was placed across the child’s mouth and nose before she died. If the jury believes that the only question left is- who put it there? The defense certainly tried to implicate George- but there’s no evidence to show he did.
Further- IF George was responsible for this “burial” then who can possibly believe that as a former homicide detective, he wouldn’t have done a far better job of burying, hiding or disposing of the remains?
I saw an obscured photo of the skull on FOX yesterday. Obscured but still visible. Horrifying.
Can someone on this case simply say: the duct tape was in the house of Anthony and available to any and all members of the family?
Casey tearing up again.
What’s interesting is that to some people (i.e., the jury) the slow, methodical approach is more compelling. Others are taken by a more impassioned approach.
A lot of these commentators are just lazy. I have to wonder how closely they are listening. That’s why I like Bill Schaeffer on wftv. He’s really good.
Sad but I think the alligators got Haleigh. I want justice for her too
So true - I was reminded this morning how stupid the comments by that dr spitz were in trying to blame first the ME’s office, then the OCSO - Who was on his list next, the Judge?
The eyes are the windows to the soul. She really IS an ugly horrible person.GUILTY of murder.
You know it will turn up on the internet eventually.....
Yup! Her interior evil has become very exterior.
Casey was tearing up alot yesterday. Guilt when confronted with her handy work, perhaps?
The defense needs to stop objecting.
No body was ever found, although law enforcement is sure she’s dead. Misty and Ronald are in prison for unrelated drug offenses, so maybe they’ll speak.
Under this scenario I can't imagine why Casey doesn't get a first degree conviction.
Ashton is sealing the deal now.... really good.
Yeah... he just sealed the deal
