Although the dope angle was not a factor in this case I think it played a big part in neglect of the child.
I think Cindy was laying down the law - Casey was going to be in trouble and she was going to take Caylee from Casey.
I truly believe Casey is capable of murder just to spite her mother, and to get back at Cindy for not letting Casey go and do whatever she wanted to do, in other words to have her beautiful life.
We don’t know for sure the cause of death because the body had decomposed too much. Who was responsible for too much time elapsing? Why should Casey Anthony benefit from being devious and delaying the discovery of Caylee’s body?
If you find old cruddy duct tape taped over the mouth and nasal cavity of a skull, I think you could reasonably deduce that the child was suffocated. I wish they would have demonstrated how covering the mouth and nose of a person will cause suffocation. They could have used the defendant. NO? They wouldn’t do that? WHY not? Because everyone already KNOWS that would cause death. Would have loved to see the defense lawyers object to Casey being used to prove cause of death by suffocation with duct tape.
I don’t think that is so odd - not with programmable phones. You enter the number once then just hit their name to call - don’t forget she had just started dating Tony a few weeks before this - so texting and calls were all done by his name, not number. She didn’t have her phone any longer and was having to dial the number from the jail phone.
I think Tony must have changed his number after she was arrested and he found out about all of her lies.
Trying to say ....even though I'm very close to the epicenter of this case....I haven't been paying attention...
..UNTIL recently.....and now I'm glued, like everyone else, on testimony and reactions.
My husband & I have had our minds on other things with surgeries, etc...
..but now we ARE paying attention and I'm going to a get-to-gether this afternoon where I know EVERYONE will be talking about it, because they are Casey Trial 24/7....
This morning I was quickly trying to get my calico beans put together in the crockpot (for this afternoon) because I wanted to sit down and watch the rebuttal.
An hour later I checked on my beans and realized I didn't even plug the darn thing in!!!!!!.....So distracted!
So I plugged it in, turned in on HIGH (I thought) and 1/2 hour later realized I had only put it on WARM!
I'm Casey Trail zoned out!!!!!!!!

Did you ever read the deposition of Jesse Grund, the boy she claimed was the father until his family insisted on a paternity test? He said Casey takes on the characteristics of those she is around. His example was that his own family was very religious and she became religious around them, then started smoking a lot of pot while dating whichever of the guys was a big smoker

Both Badens are all over the news lying their *SSES off. If nothing else comes of this, at least to me, Dr. Baden has lost all credibility because his wife got involved with the case of a lying murderer who killed her little girl. Serves him right.

He’s on Fox right now, doing his best to discredit the prosecution. I’ve lost all respect for this man too. For a few years now, he’s been kind of strange. Wasn’t there some kind of scandal regarding his work a few years back?
