When people go to great lengths to build defensive works of this magnitude, it must of been something that really scared them greatly.

The east and west entrances through the ramparts and ditches can be seen towards either side of the image roughly where the modern paths are, while zooming in one level will reveal the square structure of the later Romano-Celtic Temple towards the east.
