Tim Johnson from South Dakota. See my post #20.
Thanks, is he back in DC these days? How well does he function?
It’s not really Harry...it’s Diana and if she doesn’t find a large rat to snack on soon she’ll be mighty upset.
I didn’t do it but I would if I could.
Was it Senator Pike?
Theme song of Harry and Nancy: Of all the things I’ve lost, I miss my mind the most.
LOLOL!!!!
Nancy punched him out
Bahahaha! Good one.
He was jogging, leaned on a car, car was wet from the rain, slipped off and fell. Also dislocated his shoulder. Or that’s the official story. I think he prolly was cutting the rug at Remington’s and things got out of hand.
LOL!
If I’d been drinking, you’d owe me a new keyboard!!
Caught with right-hook, fell, broke right arm —looks like.
“If the Republicans had spines, they would insist that a senator or rep who is mentally or physically impaired enough that he cannot perform his duties, then that person should be made to step down.”
By Arizona law, a replacement should have been chosen for Gabby Giffords by now. I’m not complaining though because she’s a Dem. Maybe that’s why there hasn’t been a major outcry here. Everyone I know is a staunch conservative. I’m very happy for the Dems to do the touchy-feely left thing with her.
would she be replaced by special election or by the Gov?
A special election is required. It’s come up on FR before. Here’s a thread I found by using Google:

There was a lot of talk about it right after the shooting. I haven’t seem much said about it since. As an RN, I think they’ve been overly optimistic about her recovery and ability to resume her duties. I just don’t think it’s going to happen after massive head trauma. I’ve prayed for her, but am still very happy she isn’t currently carrying out duties as a Dem.
That’s what the voters of Nevada SHOULD have done to him back in November!
They metaphorically did, it is just the voting ginning cheating machine was to big to overcome IMHO... How can a guy go from 4 to 5 points down to 4 points ahead on election day? That is to much of a percentage swing... And we all heard about the SEIU turnout in Vegas how they were “asked” to vote.....
I think it looks good on him.
5.56mm
I don’t know much about him, but watching a lot of CSPAN and political chat shows as I do, you never hear of him or see him on the floor of the Senate nor see him interviewed. I have a feeling his staff is basically South Dakota’s senior senator. Not sure why this state of affairs is allowed to go on just out of sympathy.
