This thread is an announcements of my wife, Gail's, new book, "An Unforgiving Temper." I am so proud of her. Many of you know her from her positing updates on my condition while I was in MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX last year with scaral chordoma cancer and the major surgeries I went through.

I am so proud of her and wanted to let our FR family know of her accomplishment.

I will definitely read this, Jeff & Gail.

Interestingly, I’d never read Pride and Prejudice until recently. No particular reason, just hadn’t thought of it I guess. But I liked it very much and will be interested to revisit the Darcy’s in this one.

Keep up the good work. And the good recovery.

Thanks for the heads up about your wife’s new book. Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite books.

Hi, Jeff - We should take delivery March 30th. Looking forward to it. BTW, to get free shipping, I also ordered this one: The Complete Guide to Sharpening. Looks interesting, got great reviews and could be a real skill-builder.

Please send my warmest congratulations to Gail, and I am just now ordering my copy of this novel. I look forward to reading it. Such an intriguing story line - I have always thought that there was a huge amount of real hostility and threat in the plot of Pride and Prejudice. The happy, easy ending was anything but likely!
