Some dad.

The institutionalization of the American mind - we can't resolve anything without involving the authorities. And the authorities can't restrain themselves from getting involved in the inane as a point of law.

>>Not necessary, your confession is already in print and we’ve reported you to the authorities........<<

This is a good thing. Being on the lam has been very stressful for me and my family. Finally we will have closure. :)

I had a dog with no legs - every morning I’d take him for a walk in a wheel barrow. One day he got to chasing a cat and about ran me to death.

I just posted the New York Times version and it has the elder son kicking the hamster "in a rage." 19-Year-Old Is Charged in Hamster’s Death (Updated - worse than you thought!)

Go read the newer article posted below. She is also charged with 3 counts of endangering a child.

There are a zillion kids in the family - each loonier than the last. And the father didn’t report her to the authorities.

Being on the "lam"

Was that a typo error for "Ham"ster?

Being a studious follower of the fine points of jurisprudence I think that the America Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will be spinning its wheels on this one!

How low our country has fallen when we charge someone with a felony for killing a frickin’ hamster, or any animal for that matter.

Anyone that seizes a pet and kills it during an argument in a state of rage is a dangerous person that I want out of my house. This is not a child remember.

Next time it will be scissors in someone’s back when they turn away. Or torching the house while everyone else sleeps, which I’ve seen happen. Serious anger issues there.

I guess I’m in a different place than anyone else here.

>>Animal cruelty should be a major felony.

But who defines what animal cruelty is? You living a vegan lifestyle? No? Maybe I think you should do some time.

It was the family’s choice to treat it as a pet, and as such it was equivalent to a cat or dog.

I've mourned the loss of a dog for months. I usually get over dead hamsters by the time I put the shovel back in the garage.

But it’s just peachy to slice and dice an unborn child in the womb.

So she did that too??

Or did you just inject something into this thread that is totally off base?

Are you going to bring up murdered hamsters on all of the abortion threads?
