Yes, MrJust’s surgery is on the 8th. He goes in to see the surgeon again tomorrow.
One thing at a time is so right! Marissa has a Saturday dentist appt and needs to go to the lab on Monday. The next 2+ weeks will be pretty hectic.
Amy, I hope they do x-rays, catscans, etc. There is a couple here in our town who has this hometown restaurant. The father had it before and handed it down to his daughter and her family. They specialize in those slider burgers but also serve larger hamburgers, fries and all kinds of sandwiches. We have frequented their restaurant as long as I can remember.
The husband started having trouble in October and at first as his wife told me, she thought he was having mini-strokes, then she said it was more like the beginning stages of Altzeimer’s. So, they started all the catscans, blood tests and every test imaginable and finally found out he had a large tumor in his brain, which was diagnosed as brain cancer. They are in their upper 50’s or maybe 60. He’s had surgery and is undergoing chemo and radiation. He’s at home now but I’ve read where the prognosis is not good with this type cancer.
It has startled our town and they had a big fundraiser in Bristol as the rumors were that they had no insurance, which was very hard for me to believe. I think they have 2 kids in college and I guess maybe people who have nice businesses do not have enough money for insurance. It makes me wonder what Obama would make them do.
Its a sad situation.

My dear Marine husband did, too - for eight long years.
He also remembered in vivid detail, the attack by the Japanese in the South Pacific, that put him in the hospital for a year. (Yet, he forgot my name.)
Prayers for your dear father, ML. May all his memories be kind and sweet for him. **HUGS**

Meg, I was sorry to hear about your brother. It seems that tragic disease has touched all our lives. Wish they could come up with a miraculous cure for it! Or find it and head it off some way! (((Hugs)))
