Yes, I remember the noise when our last roof was installed but I sure was glad to get it AND get it overwith.

I am taking off now for errands and groceries. See you and everyone later!

Tunnels

A recent college graduate took a new job in a hilly Eastern city and began commuting each day to work through a tiring array of tunnels, bridges and traffic jams. To make the task less onerous, he invited several of his co-workers to share the ride. He soon found, however, that the commute continued to get more stressful, especially the trips through the tunnels. He consulted the company doctor.

"Doc," the frustrated commuter complained, "I'm fine on the bridges, in the traffic, in the day and at night, and even when Joe forgets to bathe all week long. But when I get in the tunnels and I've got those four other guys crowded around me in the car, I get anxious and dizzy and feel like I'm going to explode."

Without further analysis, the doctor announced he had identified the ailment.

"What is it, Doc? Am I going insane?"

"No, no, no, my boy. You have something very common in these parts."

"Tell me! What is it?"

"You have what is known as Carpool Tunnel Syndrome."

Nice graphic and frame, but I’m (sorry to say), not too happy with woodpeckers these days:

Through the Bible, it tells us of our names are written>in the Book of Life. Later it says Jesus will blot the names from the book of Life.
___________________________________________________________
"Revelation 3:5
KJV He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels."
__________________________________________________________

It was explained, that all of us have our names written in the Book of Life, unbelief is the only unforgivable sin, thus those who do not believe, will have their name blotted out of the Book of Life.

It is a way to approach others with the idea their name is already written in the Book Of Life (thus to have eternal life) and it will be blotted out for all that do not believe God.

Sorry. I am not expressing this as well as I heard it expressed.

CHECKING UP ON THE ENEMY

"Insurance Check and Double Take" Fire swept the plains and burned down the farmer’s barn. While he surveyed the wreckage, his wife called their insurance company and asked them to send a check for $75,000, the amount of insurance on the barn.

“We don’t give you the money,” a company official explained. “We replace the barn and all the equipment in it.”

“In that case,” replied the wife, “cancel the policy I have on my husband.”

I know you miss Torey, ML.
(Anniversaries like this are so very hard.)
I think she and my little Lindy
Must be at Rainbow Bridge,
Chasing bunnies, together,
And laughing together
As only our furry kids can do.

BEYOND THE RAINBOW

As much as I loved the life we had and all the times we played,
I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade

I saw a wondrous image then of a place that's trouble-free
Where all of us can meet again to spend eternity.

I saw the most beautiful Rainbow, an on the other side
Were meadows rich and beautiful - lush and green and wide

And running through the meadows as far as the eye could see
Were animals of every sort as healthy as could be

My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new
And I wanted to go run with them, but I had something left to do

I needed to reach out to you, to tell you I'm alright
That this place is truly wonderful, then a bright glow pierced the night

“Twas the glow of many candles, shining bright and strong and bold
And I knew then that it held your love in it's brilliant shades of gold.

For although we may not be together in the way we used to be
We are still connected by a cord no one can see

So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart
If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with your heart
