I often feel that I speak a completely different language than everyone around me. That's why I try to take a moment and consider my words. It usually keeps me out of trouble.
When I find myself in a situation like the unfortunate Gingis, I don't try to blame everyone else. Instead I go back and check myself or ask others if I seemed out of line. It's called personal responsibility for ones behavior. It's a very conservative concept.
Of course . . . Wise choices and actions.
However . . .
have you ever tried to do that
or have you been quickly responsible and effective in doing that
WHEN
you were also awash in intense conflicting feelings and circumstances such that it was hard to get your bearings and know even what you thought and felt and might have cause to apologize about?
And have you done so 100% of the time in such circumstances?
There is no reasoning or being "civil" with monsters who are trying to devour you alive.
Right you are! EXACTLY the point I was trying to make.
Yea,... he used a whip and turned over the money changes tables to make his point...."You will not make my fathers house a den of thieves." He called some..."white washed hypocrates"...."snakes" ....and a few other choice phrases. Additionally, the bible does say there is a time for every thing....war and to refrain from...to live and to die...to laugh and to cry. This feeble mushy tolerance out there today is not the Christ I know...nor would I want to. We are called to stand for the truth....not take falsehood sitting down. That has been done many yers now and it is "time" to stand..and that we shall indeed do.
Well now that would determine by whose measurement is skilled, now wouldn't it?
Some just don't like to feel uncomfortable with certain language...or emotions with it. But they should not stand in the way of those who have language that gets the point across in no other way.
I recall trying time and time again to get a bully sister to hear me...fruitless to try. But the day came when she stepped far over my boundaries and I rose to that occassion. My voice went ten octives higher than any of my family had heard before....I made my point clearly and directly. ..and that with volune and a few choice words to take it home to the ears hearing.
After this my sister understood...saying "Sometimes people have to get on my level for me to hear them". And since that day she has never tangled with me again. She listens now.
We have no right to dictate or assume "language" needs to measured across the board...it is simply a means of communicating...regardless of the choice of words.
Life can sure be like that.
LOL.
LUB BRO.
lolrotf...I wasn’t at all expecting that.
I agree.
I don't think the American people are looking for compromise....I know I'm not. I want this ship turned completely around...it's going the wrong way in every way. That means no compromise on the direction...it needs to come full circle.
Maybe it’s his “test”....how much can he handle before he reaches the point of anger...or will he walk away. That’s what Republicans have been doing for far too long...and now the people are saying if they won’t fight this progressive movement on their behalf...the people surely will...and are on a daily.
Even in my work place I see this. Most are liberal and yet speechless when you give them the facts...then their only recourse is to start the badgering and stupid reponses we so often hear here.
Thanks Quix.
I know people that cannot stand to hear people swear or use foul language...but we forget Jesus hears this 24/7....because He is listening more to the heart and mind saying what it is trying to say that might otherwise be more statesmanlike.
I remember the first time I got angry with God....that everything happening around me made Him look like all His promises were lies...and that if I didn’t know better I could have called Him a lyer.
Now some Christians might find this more than offensive to God. But I learned when He says to lay our burdens before Him that can sometimes mean we come just exactly as we are...emotions and all. Far better my anger went to Him. ..and I found in Him such understanding... a great “friend” in Christ that day.
TRUE TRUE.
Taiwan’s has often broken out into fisticuffs!
INDEED.
QUITE SO. VERY TRUE.
Though IN GENERAL
it is very wise to keep one’s respect of WHO HE IS well in place.
LOL.
HE IS THE BOSS AS WELL AS DADDY.
Japan does too..saw that on you tube! They were all pounding on each other. But each side knew and understood what this was about...there was no question...and that emotion and physical bout brought things to the point where they could then determine the course of action.
“respect”, contrary to what most would have thought..was established thru that.
The point is these parliments get things done...our congress sits down next to each other and plays cutsey far to often....they don’t get their points across...and no longer can without the American people standing as well.
Our Congress is a facade, a farce.
They haven’t represented the people truly for decades.
The ruling oligarchy has very effectively seen to that.
It is a charade to distract the people and drain a lot of their money in destructive futility.
Did you ever notice if any get riled up the media takes it as them blowing their cool entirely. I cannot stand our media. Worst in the world...even China in some respects. At least the people there know they are being bamboozled.
They lost! Hel-loooooo!
Point!!
