(( ping ))
I am pinging freepers who posted on last year’s Honduras threads.
You DO NOT want to miss this!
To: onyx
Thanks for the ping!
I just pinged a bunch of freepers from last year’s Honduras threads.
What on earth were Ubama and his “mainstream” Democrat media shills up to last year with all the lies about a “coup”?
Mystery solved.
To: Lancey Howard
LOL. YW, but I was pinging musicman to your post.

I suspect something even worse than these revelations: A connection with the Drug Cartel.

Another bit of bizarre logic relates to the constitution's Article 239, which says that a president may be removed for any attempt to lift the constitutional prohibition on re-election. Mr. Llorens complains that the article "does not stipulate who determines it has been violated or how." Yet he sees himself as better qualified than the Honduran Supreme Court to make that determination. If Article 239 named an official who was supposed to determine whether the violation had occurred, then all that would be needed would be to subvert that official. By being non-specific, then it allows the removal to be done when it's generally seen as having been violated.

Thanks for posting this. I saw it yesterday morning but couldn't read it because I don't have an account with WSJ - don't want one.
For those unable to see the whole article see this link.Click here
The article refers to two classified documents;
AMBASSADOR CHARLES A. FORD
Ambassador Hugo Llorens
There might be better links or sites that have this info, but these seem to work for the time being.

Yep, I pushed every button I knew how to push to stop that charade. Called Congressmen, Senators, posted revealing articles from foreign papers here on FR and tweeted the links to the papers on Twitter.
In the end, the efforts did a lot to discredit Obozo and crowd. That is why they finally relinted. After Demint and his Congressmen friends went there.
I learned to love the people of Honduras. Some day if I get to where I can, I would love to go visit there.

That was the best cartoon for the event. It said it all. Loved it. And it was so true, not a joke.
