Why should the mainstream media start reporting real news. They haven’t done that in decades.
At least they are keeping their record intact.
(I was a card-carrying, pro-American reporter. Now I’m on the Endangered Species list).

“And when oil hits $125.00 a barrel we will be drilling like crazy here in the USA!”
Only when and where big government permits.
Does it occur to anyone we should be tapping the oil field in the Gulf where the accident occurred earlier in the year? We know there is a plentiful supply. Obama will never allow it.

No! Seriously! The Volt comes out next year!
Let’s see, there are 13 in my family. How many volts would we need to drive to town?

Actually, oil exploration in the USA has increased in the US and there are 562 more rigs drilling for oil & gas as of last week then there were the same week a year ago.
As for the eastern Gulf of Mexico, there is a moratorium on drilling there that has been in existence since 1981.
To: freedomfiter2
Oh.
You had better start saving.

In my area of Portage County of Ohio, regular is about $2.96 a gallon (varies a little between stations). I read (believe it was drudge) that when Obozo took office, the National average was about $1.98 a gallon.

Now T Boone has lost his ass on wind he says Wind is BS there is no way it can work
That’s not what he was saying when he wanted to use the government to line his pockets. I despise pseudo-capitalists.

My point is that T Boone is not an “energy man”
He is a shyster businessman.

They work great. You just put a generator and a big gas tank in the back seat. Of course you only get about 10 miles per gallon.

I got your point. It’s so rare that these “great capitalists” get their bluff called that I couldn’t resist commenting.

It’s a shame for the greenies that they cant seem to sell “renewable energy”
It would be the greatest stream of renewable money they could ever dream of, because it is fraught with inefficiency and middle men.

There are countless capped wells left over from the 70’s that could be refurbished and back in production in no time.

WRONG!
Taxes/FEEs/Regulations are to high in the US for the oil companies!
Take them off and watch the gasoline prices drop by $2 a gallon!!
$.60 plus cents at the pump for taxes!
