I want to be buried in the fetal position. I mean, after I’m dead.

We started out life in that position. Might as well end in it as well.

That was my first thought exactly when I read that this village buried all of its dead that way (at least in the ~60 tombs excavated so far). This burial position tells me that those ancient people were thoughtful and civilized.

Yeah.......In 6,500 years, some budding young archeaologist will dig you up and exclaim," Hey Maw, look what I found in the back yard".

No, It was Chicagoside. Hitlery brought that practice from her hometown (Chicago) to Arkansas.

I didn't see how old.

My first thought was he knew where the BC was and was eliminated.

Never mind.

Also, rigor passes, and the muscles become limp again.

No evidence it was murder. Only that it could of been a homicide.

A few years ago, didn't they also find an arrow sticking inside the back that 3000 year old Italian mountain climbing mummy dude? Looks like getting shot in the back preceded Ford's Theater by 5000 years or so.

This burial position tells me that those ancient people were thoughtful and civilized.

Thoughtful and civilized enough to kill each other with advanced weaponry. ;-) (just kidding)

They probably knew more about honor than most people alive today.

We’ll know for sure if an empty bottle of headache remedy is found under the body.
