If you've ever been on TV, it's a bit scary with cameras around you and then people in the audience and people at home watching. After Bristol gets used to it a bit, it won't be so intimidating. She DOES need to loosen up and enjoy herself. Am I the only one thinking her wardrobe this past week was matronly? IMHO it was more businesslike than geared for this type of competition where a certain degree of pazazz and glitz gets attention and counts for showmanship (in addition to dancing skills).
So Bristiol is still there for next week?
I think they have made her too matronly as well. She is a young woman, they don’t have to make her look like a tramp, but they could make them look younger and more for her age,
yes
Cho was a nasty, angry, bitter person whom I had barely heard of before this show. She herself even admitted it was “therapy” for her. Hey, now you can go away and get MORE therapy, along with tattoo removal - whee!!
Yes she made it through. Next week is ing to be interesting.
I’m sure it doesn’t help that she’s not quite trim in figure either. But mostly she just doesn’t have a compelling personality or showmanship as if for her dancing. Same deal with her one acting experience.
This week’s dance was probably the worst for exposing that, however, because there was supposed to be acting in her performance. I think she can hang on for another couple of weeks with her natural lightness on her feet.
She does very well on the Dancing, she looks very inhibited though, just the opposite of her Mom.
Florence was too emotional and that messed her up, she will do better next time so Bristol will have to work a lot harder to not be eliminated. I think “Situation” has a fan base that will overcome a lot of his mediocre scores, but he is doing a lot better even on that aspect.
There are costumes designed to hide figure flaws. We're used to seeing other celebrities animated behavior while Bristol is subdued and shy.
There isn't a one of us who doesn't know by now that media is just rabid for one single utterance from Bristol with which they could get reverberations for weeks and months ahead against the Palin family (uncontrolled media hatred/bias).
IMHO if Bristol treated her fellow "celebrities" like she treats her friends back in Wasilla (not allowing herself to be awestruck by them), she'd be in better humor and in a looser frame of mind to do what she needs to accomplish.
I am so late here...but, I just have to say - The Situation better be going home next week. He is T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E. I almost feel bad for him. LOL
