Can you be specific about what part of your hand hurts when you shoot it? Do you have small hands with long fingers or large hands?
Very small hands (at least by today’s standards; I wear a 6 or 6.5 in vintage gloves) and it’s the fleshy part of the right thumb base.
A thicker grip should satisfy that complaint.
The Glock 27 is smaller and easier to carry. You could feasibly hide it in your G-String Joe!

Definitely not a Rambo gun nor has it gone thru years of U.S. Postal Service Attendant Training....but at close range for personal defense, it will give my assailant pause.
